I have previously bought a Corvette through Les Stanford and have been researching buying a luxury crossover and seen they had a few so I made the hour drive to their dealership and walked around the showro and have been researching buying a luxury crossover and seen they had a few so I made the hour drive to their dealership and walked around the showroom for 15 minutes and had several salespeople walk right by me, nobody asked if I needed any assistance, nothing! They just walked right by me, 2 of them were busy BSing and were definitely NOT helping other customers. Maybe they thought I couldn't afford to shop there because I pulled in driving my work truck, or because I wasn't wearing my suit and tie. Regardless, I continued outside and looked at several vehicles that were what I was interested in (average price of $30,000) but still after another 20 minutes nobody wanted my business. Too bad for them, it would have been a nice easy comission as I was ready to buy, had already done my research and they could have had my deal done before lunch. I was also looking to possibly buy a second vehicle as my wife is due for a new one as well. Glad I wasted over 2 and a half hours to drive down there. They have lost my business and I am off to where I should have gone in the first place, off to the Novi/West Bloomfield/Troy area where they understand that customer service still matters! More

We found Les Stanford on theinternet an d Kara Carroll the internet agent helped us every step of the was handing ouver to Dale Romero the financial agent and both of them contrary to the image othe typical auto dealers " do anything to make a deal" they were pleasant and straight forward. Everything was prepared for ouir arrival from Chicagho and the process only took minutes. I commend them both. More

Dennis was great! I went in with a price range. My credit was good but not great some banks turned me away and others said yes with a high rate. These traits coupled with his desire to serve your best interests, makes a purchase of a vehicle from him a very pleasant and non-frustrating experience. I met Dennis via the internet and we had many discussions via the telephone and email before deciding on a date to get together at the dealership. Since I was from out of state, Dennis offered to come into the dealership to show me several vehicles on a Saturday when the dealership was officially closed. All I had to do was tell him what characteristics I was looking for in a car and the colors that I was interested in. Dennis discussed the pros and cons of each characteristic and any options that I may want to consider or reconsider. When I arrived at the dealership, Dennis treated me like a king and I felt like I had known him for years. He was non-pushy and he was willing to give me all the time that it would take to make me happy and satisfied. He also had several candidate vehicles waiting for me to consider and drive. After we had agreed on which vehicle I was going to purchase, the delivery of the car to my out of state home was scheduled. The associated purchase paperwork was minimal, complete and accurate and was sent to me via FEDEX ahead of the delivery date. This gave me ample time to review. The delivery of my car was exactly as scheduled. I strongly recommend Dennis Tap for all your vehicle purchases. You won’t be disappointed!!! More
The camaro that we put a deposit on . . was sold out from under us. Instead of explaining that to us . . we were told "We have the same exact car." Which they did not have. (The one we wanted had a spare ti under us. Instead of explaining that to us . . we were told "We have the same exact car." Which they did not have. (The one we wanted had a spare tire.) The one they wanted to sell us also had a $600.00 spoiler on it which we did not want. We ended up with a camaro very similar to the one we put the deposit on and we love it, but nothing was ever done to fix the spare tire situation. (That was after the sales manager assured me on the phone that they would do what they could to fix the problem.) All in all the sales experience was something I don't ever want to repeat again. More
We came to your dealership to purchase a new chevy express 2500. When we came to take delivery on the vehicle we dealt with Joe Quinn and had one of the worst experiences ever at a dealership. First of all, someone who worked with Joe made my husband turn over $45 for the plate before he would show him the paperwork treating him like a loser who didn't have $45 when purchasing a $30,000 vehicle! When the paperwork was finally given up the payment was $40/month more than agreed on. When questioned he said that he added the extra mileage warranty without discussing it with us first. After that was removed the payment was still higher than agreed upon and when questioned about that he blamed it on the salesperson and magically changed it to within a $1 of the agreed upon price. He failed to tell us that the vehicle was put solely in my husband's name and not in the business name as requested. He then chose to tell us that if it was in the business name it would be $3000 more and we had stated all along that we needed it the business name with my husband cosigning. If it wasn't discovered before signing the reprucussion from this would have been a disaster. Needless to say we left without the vehicle. In the past 20 years we have only purchased vehicle from 2 dealers, Bill Brown Ford and Les Stanford Cadillac because we do not like to be treated like fools. Up until now Les Stanford was that way but at this point we are so angry and if something isn't done in regards to this vehicle we are willing to pay more at the Ford dealer than give Les Stanford the business. This would've been our 3rd vehicle with Les Stanford and it's a shame that one employee can turn off a potential lifetime customer. More
