Acceptable I had done all of my research and shopping on the internet before arriving at the dealer, so I knew the exact car I was interested in. I test drove the car, and decided I wanted to buy it. I was prepared with preapproval for financing from my bank, and the salesman said it was a lender they worked with regularly. I didn’t try to negotiate on the sticker price. The point I’m making here is that the salesman really didn’t have to do much of anything, but he asked several times that I submit a review, so here it is. The value they gave me on my trade was about 14% lower than I was hoping to get, and 5-10% lower than what I would have considered a fair value. I don’t have the patience to haggle, and I came from an hour away so I wasn’t going to waste my time arguing over the trade value. When the salesman originally prepared the paperwork, the numbers for what I needed to put down to make the monthly payment I wanted didn’t seem to align with what I had calculated myself. I asked him what he was using as a sticker price, and it was $1200 higher than what was advertised on their website. This was corrected promptly; probably just an honest mistake, but pay attention. They had me in and out in a couple of hours, and the service was acceptable; so 4/5 stars I guess. More
