Lenz Truck - Fond du Lac, WI

We went to the dealership with a specific vehicle in mind. I wasn't sure if it was the exact one I wanted — my husband wanted it —but Sam was very helpful in giving us information about the vehicle. We left the first day without purchasing, because to be honest I wasn't entirely sold on it... it was a big purchase. We went to a few other places to no avail. I went home and looked up prices online for similar cars... and after looking just about everywhere... I couldn't find a cheaper price on this vehicle. Nothing even close. So, we went back the next day (with pre-approval from the bank) to try it out again. Sam was not scheduled to work, but he came in specifically to meet us and help us out. I have to say I'm probably not the easiest person to work with, but Sam rolled with it. Kudos to you, sir. We decided to purchase the vehicle, but the one thing I was still struggling with was the monthly payment. I wanted to make sure it was reasonable because I didn't want to sign my life away. (I have a Starbucks habit to support.) Nik, the finance manager, gladly took up my challenge to get an "awesome" interest rate. After about 10 minutes he blew the one my bank gave me out of the water. The payment was even lower than what I was hoping for. Seriously, this man is a genius at what he does. All-in-all I left the lot with a lovely new vehicle, a super reasonable monthly payment and have not had a single ounce of buyer's remorse. (Although getting used to driving such a "giant" vehicle after having driven a Jetta for several years is another challenge entirely... watch out, Wisconsin drivers!!) I definitely recommend working with this dealership. They are a good-natured and fun group of people who really know what they're doing. If I had any sort of constructive criticism at all... it would be that I wish I would've gotten a free carwash or something. I say that because 1) the car was a little dirty from sitting outside in the heat and 2) I'm trying to find something wrong. Highly recommend. :) More

I went to a different dealer and I was passed off by two people and when I told the other dealer that there was a problem with the truck they seemed to not care. Lenz addressed a couple concerns that I had with the truck I was looking at and even took it back to the shop to go over my concerns and the mechanic went over the results with me. It made me confident in buying from them. I know for a fact that I will be going back for another truck from them, but it will be 5 years or so because I am so happy with the truck I got. They also offered a fair value for the truck I was trading in. Last but not least they made the financing a breeze and I got the intrest rate I was expecting for my credit rating. My wife and I were in the market for a 3/4 or 1 ton 4x4 truck with a diesel engine and auto transmission and found a number of them for sale via the internet at Lenz Truck Center in Fond du Lac. After exchanging a couple of emails with Mark Phillips we made the 90 minute drive to check out their inventory. We have purchased many vehicles through the years at numerous dealerships not only in WI but also in MN, CO, and WA. We were extremely impressed with the large inventory, the clean and attractive grounds and buildings, the friendly reception staff, and of course our salesman, Mark Phillips. He was very friendly, courteous, listened to what we were looking for, and brought the vehicles up to the building with the AC running for test drives. When we found the truck we wanted, we dealt with only Mark, not shuffled from room to room and person to person. The truck we purchased had a gooseneck hitch installed which we didn't want as we have a 5th wheel. The service manager, Dan Bergin, removed our 5th wheel rails in just a few minutes while we completed paperwork. Over the next couple of days, they removed the gooseneck hitch, welded a patch in, undercoated the patch and installed a spray in bedliner, installed our 5th wheel rails, and cleaned the truck. Very impressed with the service departement! We will/have been spreading the word to all of our family and friends to check out Lenz Truck Center! More

Bill Paterson was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the differences between the vehicle manufacturers that have diesel-equipped trucks, which helped us in making our choice of the 2005 Chevy regarding the differences between the vehicle manufacturers that have diesel-equipped trucks, which helped us in making our choice of the 2005 Chevy Silverado with the Duramax/Allison combination. In regards to financing our purchase, Nik Tries gave 150% effort to working with the various financial organizations to get us the best deal to suit our specific needs.
