We agreed on the price of a truck, they e-mailed me the exact price "out the door". I made arrangements to take off work on a friday, fly in to pick up the truck and the salesman would pick me up at the ai exact price "out the door". I told them I would call when I got home from work with a credit card # for the deposit. When I called they insisted on $1500.00 more claiming they had another buyer all of a sudden (after saying they were glad to move the truck since it had been sitting on their lot longer than they liked). I refused to fall for their scam and told them I would pay the price they quoted, they tried pressuring with the threat of someone else willing to pay more and became belligerent when I told them no. After days of making travel plans and arranging to take off work they pulled this stunt. A month later and the truck is still being advertised for sale on different web sites, looks like their "other buyer" disappeared. DO not buy from Lenz Trucks, check them out and you will find numerous complaints and see why the BBB has given them an "F" rating. More
My Wife and I went to Lenz looking at 3 vehicles we found on the internet. We ended up test driving a vehicle that we hadn't even thought of looking at. It turned out to be the best vehicle for us. We were looking at SUVs that were way too big for our needs and way out of our price range. We ended up at the dealership for a total of 4 hours which was way less than any of our other purchases at other dealers. We got a great interest rate for our credit and the perfect payment. The only downfall was that dealing with Brad, he didn't seem to have enough time to answer specifics of the SUV we were looking at. He was just too busy to show us the features and answer questions. Being fairly mechanical I wasn't too bothered by this, it gave us time to figure things out on our own. Their internet site is also much better than most dealers. More
I've asked for information on a specific vehicle several times. I had some concerns about this specific vehicle, so needed the questions answered. Easy questions were responded to quickly. The tough questions were ignored (vehicle history, carfax, damage). Gee, do you have something to hide? Had there been issues with the truck, and they told me up front, I'd move on to the next truck of interest in their inventory (they have several of interest and appear to be priced reasonably). Since not willing to be forthcoming, I see no reason to risk buying anything form them. guess I'll be buying my 1-ton Duramax elsewhere. More
I was coming home from Milwaukee on a Sunday afternoon, and decided to stop in and look at their trucks. I found one I really liked and called them first thing Monday morning. They had it ready, cleaned with a full tank of fuel. After driving this truck I knew that I would be buying it. I usually do financing with a local bank from my home town, but they got me a better interest rate than the bank I have my mortgage threw. Tyler was very helpful, and was very pleasant to deal with. I also has them order me a eight inch lift, and brand new 35" tires. They installed everything very professionally. I think these complaints should be looked at knowing these guys are a very high volume dealer. They sell anywhere from 275 to 385 cars a month. Considering, these complaints are very minimal. Remember, some customers no matter what you do, they will have complaints. Wether legit or not! You can't blame them for a high interest rate, I mean come on! Pay your bills on time and that would'nt happen. (It's your credit that decides the rate offered, not theirs!) More
Lenz Truck Center was found guilty by the Wisconsin DOT of untruthful advertising. Case #09019117. They have been issued both an advisory letter and a warning letter. 2 more violations and they likely will of untruthful advertising. Case #09019117. If you have any complaints please notify the Wis. DOT Dealer & Agent section Field investigation unit Tele # 920-929-3716. Lenz Sales and Service had advertised a truck as having a tonneau cover when in fact it did not. They did not tell me that until I drove 300 miles to get the truck. Then they would neither reduce the price nor put a tonneau cover on it. So I contacted the DOT as stated above and their investigation confirmed my complaint and they issued the warning letter. My small claims suit cost Lenz Sales & Service $2,180.00. More
The website grabbed my attention, very professional. Lot's of trucks to choose from and organized on lot. The service was friendly, but quick & short that day he was busy. I bought a 2005 F-350 in June that appeared to be close to spotless. Ran the truck up to Canada 2 weeks ago fishing, no probs. I was in/out in 2 1/2 hours with plates and financing was good. These guys move a lot of trucks no bull and that could explain a few of the negatives I read. If the truck turns out to be a dumper I will be sure and revisit this site, but so far all is good. More
First off i went there two hours after i got off the phone with them to go buy a truck and the truck I wanted to purchase was supposedly "sold" but was still on the lot?!? So i picked a different one and we went through the long process of signing papers. When it came time to leave the truck barely had enough gas in it to get to a gas station and I had asked the sales man if they fill the tank and they said that’s not something we do here. So before driving off the sales man said if anything goes wrong give us a call…well what didn’t go wrong. I left the lot only to find out a week later that the rear end was going out, the transmission was really bad, the U-joints were beyond shot and the heater core was also junk. So I did what they said and took it to them and they refused to fix it without me paying an arm and a leg for it and I only drove it off the lot a week earlier. Then come to find out they over finance my truck and when I tried trading it in no bank will come near me. I also brought that fact up and Brad said “there is nothing I can do for you and asked me to leave and walked away”. This place is the worst place I have purchased a vehicle from. They screwed me and 8 other people that I know of over and i will never refer anyone to them. More
Brad Lenz took a deposit on a truck and sold it out from under my son without contacting him. The deposit was then applied to a second truck, whose remaining warranty life was misrepresented by Brian Lenz. under my son without contacting him. Brad Lenz was able to offer financing on the first truck but not on the second truck and then did not want to refund the deposit when my son could not obtain financing from his home bank due to his good but limited credit history/recent college grad status. Avoid these people at all costs!!! More

I discourage everyone from buying from this dealership because of the sleazy salespeople and the less than dishonest and unfriendly sale/quote tactics/tricks. In addition, they could careless about their customers. You are just a warm body to them and all they want to do is sell you a vehicle and make a buck. I walked into their dealership (which has the appearance of a dirty backoffice garage) and I had to ask three separate people to help me. Once I finally sat down with a sales person he then shuffled me to another sales person within five minutes. They then brought up the vehicle that I was interested in and they parked in very large puddle of water. I have need been treated so unfriendly at any other dealership I have ever visited. Don't let their fancy advertising with Packers fool you. It mearly a front to make them appear more reputable. DON'T BE FOOLED!!! More
My sister and I both have bought SUVs from Lenz Truck in Fond du Lac. We were recommended to go there because they have a great selection of SUVs and are straight forward and easy to do with.
