Dave Reilly was awesome! He was informative and helpful. I called at 10AM and was approved by noon. We got to dealership by 2 PM and were home by 5PM. Spending a lot of money and happiness don't ususally go together for me but I drove away a happy man. I just went out and looked at my new truck again, beautiful! More

Afterward, I purchased a plane ticket from Dallas to Fond du Lac. For a modest fee they met me at the airport and drove my wife and me to the dealership. Although the drive was nearly 75 miles away the time passed very quickly as the driver and I chatted about everything from Army days to the beautiful fall landscape of Wisconsin. At the dealership we received a warm friendly greeting by Sam (who kept insisting he carry our luggage around for us). All the workers we met were just as kind and considerate. The offices were clean and well kept. Sam explained various options on our new Jeep, extra packages available, and allowed us to take a test spin. When we returned he introduced us to the finance officer, who went over extended warranty plans, insurances available, and payment information. From the time we arrived until leaving it took just under two hours, including application of the requested Auto-Armor. As we drove out off we could not help but notice the pristine condition of hundreds of used vehicles on their lot. Once you are there you will totally understand why we would rate this as an A1 operation. Our overall experience was refreshing and pleasant. Given the opportunity to do business again, there is no doubt Lenz would be that of our first choice. More
I just found this site today. My visit to Lenz was actually approx. one year ago. I found what appeared to be a very nice 2004 Chevy Tahoe on Lenz Truck website. I live at least one hour away from Len actually approx. one year ago. I found what appeared to be a very nice 2004 Chevy Tahoe on Lenz Truck website. I live at least one hour away from Lenz truck and spoke with Steve. I asked a few questions and was assured the truck was totally perfect. During the call Steve actually just about had me convinced to buy it site unseen and put down a $1000 dollar deposit to "hold" the truck. The purchase contract was faxed to my work and I started to rethink handing over that much money on something site unseen, So I called Steve back and informed him I would make A special trip the next morning to see the truck. He came in on his off day which I have to admit was nice of him, however the rest of my visit was less than enjoyable. When I arrived at Lenz, the truck was being detailed, even though I had spoken to Steve the night before and he knew I would be there first thing in the AM. I stood around for approx 30 mins before the truck was available. The Truck had a bug shield in the internet photos. It was mysteriously missing from the truck when I arrived. They claimed it was still in the detail bay because they rushed to bring the truck out to show me.... First thing I notice, was the window sticker. The supposedly perfect Tahoe had a broken drivers power seat. It was disclosed as broken right on the window sticker and Steve never bothered to tell me that. Even when I was about to drop $1000 bucks and hold the truck site unseen. No offer was ever made to fix the seat if I bought the truck. Then came my trade in. I was severely low balled compared to offers I had gotten locally, Steve noticed some extremely minor surface rust on the inside of one back door and that the car had strange tires on it...I had $150 dollar a piece snow tires on it and it was winter...I'm Sorry Crown Victorias don't have four wheel drive!! Steve... When I opened the tailgate of the Tahoe I was considering purchasing the inside was actually bubbled and rotting out and in far worse condition than my car was. When i brought that to his attention I was told that that was figured into the price of the truck and there would be no negotiating on the price. I had also noticed they had a car nearly Identical to mine on the used car lot. Mine had 75K miles and I was offered $3000 on trade their car had 35K miles. They wanted $11,500 for theirs. so an 8500 dollar difference in price. Even if they double my offer in trade/aauction purchase for the lower mileage car... That's still $5500 profit built into their used cars. I ended up walking out wasting alot of time, gas and feeling lied too. It would take a miracle for me to give Lenz Truck another shot. I can't give them all awful ratings because Steve did a few good things. But my overall experience was horrible. More
Had been looking for a '08 Ford Expedition to replace my '04. Lenz had one online that was $4000 less than here in NM and worked with Mark Phillips to complete the purchase from NM. The vehicle was exactl '04. Lenz had one online that was $4000 less than here in NM and worked with Mark Phillips to complete the purchase from NM. The vehicle was exactly what was advertised and was pleased with his representation. Nik in finance was able to get a loan for 1.25% less than I was quoted here in NM. Flew into Wisconsin from NM on Labor day weekend, spent 15 minutes signing papers, and we were on our way. Great way to buy a car. More
For starters, we were pleased with the info on the web-very detailed. We knew what we wanted before we got there. The two trucks we were interested in did not disappoint us. Interiors were clean and a web-very detailed. We knew what we wanted before we got there. The two trucks we were interested in did not disappoint us. Interiors were clean and acceptable. The price was decent and we were happy with the trade-in value. Sam and Nik were extremey efficient in completing all details. In addition to being courteous and kind. Yes, it was a great experience and we love the Tacoma--hopefully the truck will fulfill its expectations which I'm sure it will. We would definitely recommend this dealership. Thank you! More
The big plus of this dealership is the volume of used trucks to choose from. It allows you to try out many different options in the used market. Although they advertise the lowest price in 500 miles, m trucks to choose from. It allows you to try out many different options in the used market. Although they advertise the lowest price in 500 miles, make no mistake, their trucks are priced at market value so there is no good deals to be had. Beware of some registration hassles if you are an out of state buyer and plan to finance your purchase. WI is a lein holder state on the titles and it is a bunch of monkey business trying to get the title from the lein holder for your DMV if you come from a customer title holder state. I had to have my DMV request the title as the lein holder would not release it to me even though it was clear I was a buyer from a customer title holder state. I traveled 7 hours to Lenz and despite the high used truck inventory to choose from, I am not sure I would do it again because the prices are as high as anywhere else and the out of home state buying experience has not gone smooth. We went to the dealership with a specific vehicle in mind. I wasn't sure if it was the exact one I wanted — my husband wanted it —but Sam was very helpful in giving us information about the vehicle. We mind. I wasn't sure if it was the exact one I wanted — my husband wanted it —but Sam was very helpful in giving us information about the vehicle. We left the first day without purchasing, because to be honest I wasn't entirely sold on it... it was a big purchase. We went to a few other places to no avail. I went home and looked up prices online for similar cars... and after looking just about everywhere... I couldn't find a cheaper price on this vehicle. Nothing even close. So, we went back the next day (with pre-approval from the bank) to try it out again. Sam was not scheduled to work, but he came in specifically to meet us and help us out. I have to say I'm probably not the easiest person to work with, but Sam rolled with it. Kudos to you, sir. We decided to purchase the vehicle, but the one thing I was still struggling with was the monthly payment. I wanted to make sure it was reasonable because I didn't want to sign my life away. (I have a Starbucks habit to support.) Nik, the finance manager, gladly took up my challenge to get an "awesome" interest rate. After about 10 minutes he blew the one my bank gave me out of the water. The payment was even lower than what I was hoping for. Seriously, this man is a genius at what he does. All-in-all I left the lot with a lovely new vehicle, a super reasonable monthly payment and have not had a single ounce of buyer's remorse. (Although getting used to driving such a "giant" vehicle after having driven a Jetta for several years is another challenge entirely... watch out, Wisconsin drivers!!) I definitely recommend working with this dealership. They are a good-natured and fun group of people who really know what they're doing. If I had any sort of constructive criticism at all... it would be that I wish I would've gotten a free carwash or something. I say that because 1) the car was a little dirty from sitting outside in the heat and 2) I'm trying to find something wrong. Highly recommend. :) More
