I have been looking to buy a truck for about 6 months and I have dealt with a lot of dealerships, and it has been a real night mare. Came into lenz trucks looking for a nice duramax, and with the help of Mike Buhler I was able to trade in my car and get a great price and get into the truck I wanted. He also called many people trying to get the best price for my car he could find and I was very happy with the price. My last vehicle was bought at van horn in Plymouth, and they totally screwed me over and sold me bad titled car knowing it. So I suggest tell everyone to stay away from those useless dirtbags. If you want good quality and an honest opinion and know that what your buying is all cleared and has warranty I'd recommend lenz truck to anyone. Overall my expirence there was 100 times better than anywhere else I've went to buy a vehicle, and you can sleep at night knowing you didn't get screwed over. Hi Brad.I am writing this to let you know how we feel about the trucks you sold us.I first found you on Auto Trader in Dec.2012,as our company was looking for a 3/4ton Chevy Diesel.You had a 2011 in stoc about the trucks you sold us.I first found you on Auto Trader in Dec.2012,as our company was looking for a 3/4ton Chevy Diesel.You had a 2011 in stock with 22000 miles on it.The videos you do on line are very helpful.The truck looked very good so we decided to buy it and have to brought to our shop in Canada.We saved about $8000.00 by purchasing in the U.S. WE took delivery of the truck a few weeks later,and I could not believe the excellent condition of the truck.It looked new not used.Early in Jan/2013,we hired a new Site Foreman and needed a work truck for him.He is a Ford guy,so I checked your stock and found a 2011 F250 Diesel with 22000 miles on it and fairly loaded and having had the success with our first purchase,I did not hesitate to buy this truck.Again,when the truck arrived,I could not believe the condition of this vehicle.I thought,don’t they drive these things down there.It too looked brand new. We had a great experience with Mike Buhler and the Lenz team. My wife and I traveled from metro Chicago to purchase a 2011 Ram we had found on the Lenz website. I have to admit I was somewhat reluctant to drive 170 miles 1 way as the skeptic in me figured there were about 100 ways this could turn out to be a disaster and a huge waste of a day. But we were looking for a very specific vehicle and had not been able to find any trucks meeting our admittedly narrow criteria locally. I had called Mike the day before to verify the truck was available and double check the details. Mike was very responsive both via phone and e-mail. We went up to look at the truck and everything was as advertised. We did the test drive and when we returned Mike was no pressure and very organized having everything we needed ready to go once we decided to make the purchase. After looking for approximately one year I purchased a 2011 F350 from Lenz in May. Since I had been looking for so long I was very familiar to the ballpark price that I should expect. When I received the Auto Trader email which matched my specifics with the Lenz truck I was a little surprised to see the price below what I had become accustomed to seeing. Lenz Auto had a very detailed video lasting over three minutes pointing out the deficiencies and showing all of the truck. I took all the specifics, fed them into the KBB, Edmunds, and USAA pricing estimates and discovered what I already knew. The price was below, and well below, their estimates. I made a lower offer, however, I was told "no, it's a great price, it'll sell." Knowing they were right I bought the truck at listed price. However, never having purchased a vehicle without touching and smelling it I was more than apprehensive. I read the Better Business Bureau and Dealer Rater reviews and they were for the most part exceptional. You'll always find at least one pissy person, but taken as a whole Lenz's reviews were A+. I was working with Sam Pegram and he was more than patient in dealing with my skepticism and did a great job in assuring me that the product was good and that they would stand behind it. I live in South Carolina so I had it delivered, which was within four days once all the paper work was complete. Upon driving off from the delivery point I noticed the Check Engine light was on. I called Lenz and spoke to Dan Bergin. He said hold on and I'll call you back. He did within about ten minutes and gave me the name and number of the Service Manager at the nearest Ford Dealership and said he was expecting my call. It was a Saturday so we made an appointment for Tuesday. Meanwhile, I noticed a Silver Dollar size drop in my garage that looked like radiator fluid. When I took it in on Tuesday they found the problems (Redundant Line and Heater Assembly Shorted Out, and Primary Rear Radiator Leaking) and said that Lenz had only Ok'd the Check Engine issue and that they would see what they say. The Mrs picks me up for lunch and about half way through it I get a call from Dan Bergin saying that they are going to take care of all of it. Total cost, $1880. That's standing behind your name. It's coming on three months now since I received the truck and I love it. I have, and will continue to, recommend Lenz Auto to anyone that is looking for a quality used truck at a fair, or even below fair, price. More

While looking for a used Chevrolet Avalanche I came across several vehicles on ebay listed for sale. I noticed that listings were submitted by Lenz Truck Center in Fond Du Lac, Wisc. I clicked on the centers web site and I began to review the Chevrolet Avalache's they had for sale. The web page is amazing. The video of each vehicle was excellent and the pictures really help you take a close up look at the vehicle. I found a 2009 Avalanche Z71 in mint condition on this site. Being from the Chicagoland area I called the number shown and Mike Buhler answered the phone. To my amazement, Mike informed me that the dealership was closed and that he was talking to me on his cell phone getting ready to eat dinner. Mike asked me which vehicle I was interested in and when I informed him of the 2009 Avalanche he knew the vehicle I was talking about. He did inform me that the truck center was very busy that Friday and that he was unsure if the truck had been sold. Mike took my phone number and told me that he would check and call me back after he had dinner with his wife. Mike called back within an hour and infromed me that the truck was available. Not knowing how to handle the situation Mike told me that he would hold the truck for a small deposit, fully refundable, until I could get to the center on Monday. The transaction was completed and I met with Mike on Monday morning. The truck was beautiful. Mike gave me the keys and told me to test drive the truck for a period of time. Once I returned to the center, a deal was struck. The process was absolutely great and Mike and Dave were two outstanding people. This was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever been involved in. Thank you Mike and Thank you Dave for the outstanding service!!!!
