On Saturday 12/07/2019 I was headed to Athens Tennessee from South Knoxville to look at a 2014 Ford Explorer. My dad spotted a 2015 Ford Explorer at Lenoir City Chrysler Dodge on Facebook Market Place and from South Knoxville to look at a 2014 Ford Explorer. My dad spotted a 2015 Ford Explorer at Lenoir City Chrysler Dodge on Facebook Market Place and we decided to stop there on our way to Athens. Mr. Ken Pruitt with his Superior sales skills sold me on the 2015 at Lenoir City Chrysler Dodge. He took care of my concerns in a professional manner. After I left the dealership I was stranded at a restaraunt in Lenoir City. The car wouldn't start the lights wouldn't come on or any thing. I found the positive battery cable was corroded and broken. The terminal would not tighten up and you could move it with your bare hand. Luckily I am mechanically savy and I fixed it barely enough to get the vehicle home. I feel this should have been found and fixed in the 21 point inspection that is performed at the dealership. When I spoke to Mr. Pruitt on Monday he said that the dealership will not fix the battery terminal. It is a $45 part from Ford plus labor. But I will handle that. Over all I am very pleased with Mr. Pruitt service and I would buy another vehicle from him. I just wouldn't rely on the service inspection . Thank you Mr. Pruitt. T.R. More
