Did the oil change but didn't tell me my front light was out I scheduled this maintenance of oil change, recall and vehicle check but forgot my driver side light was out. Old school sales tactics. Under-staffed. My daughter was in the market for a new car... She did her homework on-line and found the make, model and features of her preferred car at Len Stoler. My daughter was in the market for a new car... She did her homework on-line and found the make, model and features of her preferred car at Len Stoler.. We went to the dealership to take a look... After arriving, we experienced the usual sales tactics of trying to "up-sell" us to a more expensive model, more features, etc. We quickly told the salesperson that we wanted to test drive this particular car... We endured the usual sales negotiation process... even though the car's value was clearly stated on the Internet... All of this process took less than hour and we were ready to pay for the car and go home... However, there was no finance person available to help us... the other parts of the dealership were busy... so we waited an additional 4 hours until we finally signed for the car. During that time, we went and got lunch and moved to 3 different waiting areas... because we were interrupting the sales process for other potential customers. The manager told us that he was "short-staffed" that day (it was a Saturday). I understand that... but as a new car buyer, I would have appreciated a little bit more customer appreciation. I just bought a new car! Instead, I felt like once the deal was done... the paperwork was secondary... I wasn't important anymore... BTW, we were told that we would get the "red carpet" treatment and tutorial of our new vehicle... By the time, the paperwork was signed, our salesperson was out with another potential customer on a test drive... We just wanted to go home... In any case, I can only blame myself... Next time, I'll look for an online buying experience... Some folks may like to go and be sold to... For me, I just wanted to buy a car. More
