Clueless sales people I called new car sales on Friday 8/27 at 5:00 and my wife called the same person at 6:30 just to make sure that they had the two, red turbo Velosters I called new car sales on Friday 8/27 at 5:00 and my wife called the same person at 6:30 just to make sure that they had the two, red turbo Velosters on their webpage in stock. We had to travel 45 minutes and would be there tomorrow morning at 0915 to buy the car if it was there. He assured us both that wouldn’t be a problem, looked forward to seeing us. We arrive at the dealership, looking around and saw no turbo Veloster. The salesman took my wife’s license, made a copy and then went to the office for about 5 minutes. He came back and said that he had no red turbo Velosters! He said it was sold 2 days ago. Seriously? We immediately told him that we just talked to you a few HOURS ago and you assured us that you had them in stock and ready for us to purchase this morning! We immediately asked to see the Manager who was sitting in the office next to him. He didn’t bother getting out of his chair, he simply said that the “inventory” sheet wasn’t updated. It’s 2016, are you telling me that you don’t have a computer inventory that shows what you have in stock or did you lose a pair of $30,000 cars on your lot? No apology, no nothing but excuses. Pathetic. More
