I've had a horrible experience with Leith Volkswagen. I took my vehicle to Leith on 11/22/22 for an oil change. They wanted to sell me a recommended $900 full service and kept pushing it. After opening the hood I found the front bracket had fallen and it was zip tied together by someone. My battery terminal was uncovered and placed in the corner of my engine. I took it back to Leith Volkswagen, and asked to speak to the service manager, Adam Ridge. The service employee went to get Adam, but said he was very busy but would come and speak to me. I was advised by the employee that the battery was checked during the oil change, even after I asked them not to do anything other than a oil change. They inspected the battery, yet could not tell me the results of that inspection. So basically they touched the battery, couldn't tell me what they did or the results, and a week later the battery stopped working. 90 minutes later Mr. Ridge still did not come to speak to me after two requests. I did see him step out into the lobby and speak to an employee and then disappear again back into the office area. I asked the employee to get him for me and I was advised that he stepped out of the building. I use to enjoy going to Leith Volkswagen. They were so friendly and helpful. Their customer service was second to none. I spent $370 for a new battery from Leith Volkswagen. That is the last time I return to the dealership. Adam, could have easily saved a customer by taking the time to speak to me and hear my side. Instead, he ran to the back and hid. The worst customer service ever. More
First time bringing my 2016 Tiguan for service at this location. Service center was clean and employees were friendly and not pushy with recommendations. They installed a new battery with a 5 year warranty. Definitely will be back to take care of recommendations as soon as I am able. They even tightened my passenger door which was making squeeking/creaking sound. Prices were also affordable and work was completed in a timely manner. Received a text from Larry the Service Advisor who offered to assist if we needed anything while waiting. Bathrooms were very clean and Awesome coffee machine in the waiting area. No one wants to spend money unexpectedly but the customer service experience was great and made it a positive visit. Definitely made a new customer today. Happy to leave a review for Leith VW. More
Sales is great which is why I have bought over seven cars. The service department is a whole other story. It seems that prices change on things and they don’t seem to know why. I had an appointment booked for my car with service, scheduled for 7:45am. We dropped the car off with one of the service staff the prior afternoon. At around 1:30pm on the scheduled service day, I text scheduled for 7:45am. We dropped the car off with one of the service staff the prior afternoon. At around 1:30pm on the scheduled service day, I texted my advisor asking if he had a status on my vehicle. About 45 minutes later he replied “not yet”. By 4pm I had heard nothing back so I called. At that time he told me they had not even taken my car back. At no time during that day did he reach out to me and explain they weee behind. I understand staffing shortages with mechanics but that should never prevent the advisor from maintaining a good line of communication on status. Perhaps they didn’t want to take on warranty work since they don’t get paid for it. Either way, it was an unacceptable occurrence. I had someone take me over to get my car and explained my frustration. He did apologize for the lack of effort on his part, but I don’t think we’ll go back. I still have no resolution. I made sure not to display any anger but did let him know what he did wasn’t right. More

Very bad experience with the service dept. Final cost was much higher than initial quote. I'm not sure if it's because of the disconnect between part's and the service department or lack communication o was much higher than initial quote. I'll never take my vehicle back and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. If you do decide to take your vehicle I would NOT suggest dealing with Larry in service. More

I had taken my car in to be serviced. While waiting I started looking at new cars. I met George and Max and they both were extremely professional and very helpful. I hadn’t even thought of trading, but b started looking at new cars. I met George and Max and they both were extremely professional and very helpful. I hadn’t even thought of trading, but before I left, I was all in and wanted to trade. Convincing my husband wasn’t so easy! When I do buy a new car, I will go see George!!! More
