They throw parts at a problem - not able to fix This is the worst service department I have ever come across. We bought from them but when our Jetta had it's first problem, we had to take it in 6 t This is the worst service department I have ever come across. We bought from them but when our Jetta had it's first problem, we had to take it in 6 times for them to realize it is the timing belt, a normal problem in a car with over 100,000 miles. They just kept throwing parts at it until we were over $2000 in before saying we needed another $1600 repair (timing belt). VW USA was also incompetent when we spoke to them. They were unwilling to help offset any cost despite being the ones who supposedly told Cary VW to try this and try that. I will never buy or use this dealership again. More

Poor Guesswork on service and YOU pay for it I would NEVER trust Leith VW for any service after warranty expiration. The only thing this dealership has is its patronizing approach to providing service. I took my VW van in for an intermittent no-start diagnostic: $100. What I received was a POOR un-professional guess that a wire was loose and was the culprit. I paid them almost $300 for this work-shame on me! I took it home on Friday night and for the balance of the weekend it still had intermittent starting problems. I called the master of guesswork (Rusty the Service Mgr.) and I had to bring it in again. This time after 24 hours of nothing, Rusty tells me my NEWLY installed starter MAY be defective. Because he stated he "hit" the starter with a hammer and it magically started! When I asked for my money back for the bad diagnoses, Leith refused. After a month of phone calls and emails from VW Customer care: same response: Leith will not reimburse for their POOR to no diagnostic guesswork. Take your VW to a private Euro mechanic anywhere else in the Triangle before you consider coming here. They WILL gouge you and you have NO recourse. More
Excellent service, outstanding customer care I bought my atlas in October 2017. It is now January 2018, and I happened to notice a piece missing on one of the captains chairs. I ran into my sales associate, Freddie Joseph, and let him know about this. He immediately came over to my vehicle, took pictures of the problem, and shortly after called me to let me know that a new piece would be ordered and I would not be charged. Both Leith Volkswagen and Freddie Joseph go above and beyond the call of duty to help their customers and to make sure vehicles they sell work perfectly! More

Earlier in the w When Mike left previously the care and attention to detail declined so quickly that I considered taking my car elsewhere for service. Earlier in the week when I made my appointment I saw that he had returned and didn’t hesitate giving Cary another try. As always service was professional and quick! I only trust Mike with the service of my car. He made sure all of my questions were answered and went above and beyond to fix the CarPlay issue I was having. My car was returned in better and cleaner condition then when I dropped it off which is very nice touch. Thank you for the wonderful service once again! More

Was not told all of the potential charges associated with the repair and the representative admitted not disclosing everything. Will never take my car there again. I know many other people with VWs. I will advise them to not use this dealership. More
