I have been working with Alan Gidney for almost two years trying to buy a TDI Passat. He has always been polite, friendly, helpful and hard working! This week I took my 2012 in to have a service check in Cary and decided to talk with Alan again about buying a new Passat with the zero% interest deal and we finally came to a DEAL!!!! Mr. Haynes was very straightforward, which was very refreshing to me. I had been to many dealerships prior to coming to Leith and was constantly having to do the car-buying shuffle. At first I had planned to buy a GTI from a dealer in Maryland. Late the 2nd day I got a call from the internet specialist and specifically said I want to buy the car and I'll leave a deposit via credit Maryland. He didn't seem interested over the phone so my wife found a GTI and a Golf R in the Raleigh and Cary area. Looked at Raleigh first, GTI wasn't colored or optioned the way I wanted. Got to Leith VW and was met by Erik Francey who first showed us the only 2 door GTI they had. Not really what I wanted. We then went to look at the Golf R. Mr. Francey knew the car inside and out and wasn't afraid to let me test drive it. What a great car. The original price was more than I wanted to spend, but Mr. Francey quickly worked a great deal for the car. This is definitely one of the easier car buying sessions I've had. Rickie Jones in finance was pleasant to deal with and no hard sell on extra add-ons. I now have a great car from a great dealership that has at least two (only two I dealt with) terrific salesmen.
