I originally went into Leith VW just to find out what they would offer for my used vehicle. I was only considering to purchase a new vehicle at the time, but not sure I would follow through with it. After only a few moments of looking around the lot, Ken approached us and I explained that I was just looking around and wanted to get an appraisal on my vehicle. After promptly getting all of the info for the appraisal, Ken proceeded to show us around the lot. He was very knowledgable and helpful. Ultimately, he showed me the 2014 Jetta SE because it matched all of my must haves. While it took some negotiating after I decided I was interested, Ken remained polite, friendly, and professional. The deal even caused him to end up working late that evening, but he didn't seem to mind. Thanks Ken! The Jetta is great and I really do believe the lease was the way to go for me. More

Leith is by far everything that five-star implies. I chose Troy Haynes after checking out some of his stellar reviews. I expected from what I read to meet a knowledgeable salesman well versed in the brand, I did not to expect to make a friend as well. Troy was quick to do all he could to accommodate our visit, since we were coming from the Burlington/Greensboro area. We quickly moved to my wish list for my new Beetle...and yes, I'm picky. After determining that the model with the features I wanted was not available anywhere, we placed my order with the manufacturer. Troy kept me informed every step of the way through phone calls and texts, never leaving me to wonder what was happening with my car. After a shipping delay due to the crazy weather, I took possession of my beautiful Bug a week ago this Saturday. This is where Troy's great personality really shines. My Dad is not an easy man to impress, but by the time we left, Troy had won him over and had him smiling. My Mom loved the tye-dye shirts she saw all over the dealership, and when she found out the new shipment was not in, she was disappointed. Troy found a shirt, a new one of his own, still in the plastic in his desk and gifted it to her. Little touches like that, the extra step, that's what he and this dealership is about. And though it's over an hour drive for me, they are the only ones I trust to help maintain my little beauty and I will be taking it only there for my maintenance visits. I understand that you've probably had crappy car buying experiences, haven't we all? Before you give up and think that's what you have to settle for, drive a little and give Leith VW a chance...Troy will make sure you leave happy. More

Following the first snow of 2014, I totaled my Jetta. This was, naturally, unexpected so I went to Leith VW exploring the options since I hadn't anticipated needing a new car so soon. Ken was standing out front when I arrived and quickly understood my situation and what I was looking for. For the next 2.5 hours, he walked me through every used option, and then every new option. We talked through all sorts of financial situations so that I could have an education conversation with my parents and figure out the best option for me. When I called them later, he had prepared me perfectly and they were almost immediately on board. A few days later, we came back to Leith VW to lease the 2014 Jetta I had driven with Ken. After we had wrapped my paperwork, my mom mentioned she might like to look at new VWs, as well. Ken seamlessly transitioned from addressing my needs into working with my mom to understand her current vehicle situation and what she might want in a VW. Ultimately, she and I both drove off the lot in new cars. I would argue that it would be difficult to make the process of buying a car fun (test drive aside), but Ken was absolutely the best sales consultant I've ever worked with. I didn't feel disadvantaged by being young or not knowing a lot about cars. When my lease is up, he will absolutely be the person I call to discuss next steps. I'm sure my mom would say the same.
