Let's start off by noting I was going into this vehicle purchasing experience with a chip on my shoulder. My family was just flipping the page into the "minivan" mode of our lives and it was that time to g purchasing experience with a chip on my shoulder. My family was just flipping the page into the "minivan" mode of our lives and it was that time to get "the box on wheels". My wife and I knew what we were looking for and in what price range we expected. After several weeks of looking at the local dealerships and test driving numerous personal Honda Odyssey's for sale, we decided to take a trip out to Raleigh (from Advance) and see what they had to offer. Another dealership in Raleigh had a large number of Honda Odysseys that fit our model/type/price range so we set out on our 2 hour trip. Upon arriving at this "other" dealership, we noticed that almost every Odyssey on site had significant body and/or bumper damage (several vehicles even had rust spots showing on body panels). We quickly exited and decided to check Leith Honda since we were already in Raleigh. We were greeted by Blake Coleman who was both professional and knowledgeable of all the years/models/features of the Honda Odyssey. Doing plenty of research myself, I knew that Blake knew what he was talking about. I didn't even get a chance to see if he would "BS" an answer to my questions since he actually was able to answer all my questions correctly. I also appreciated that he didn't try to upsell me into a 2011 Honda Odyssey...he recognized that my wife and I knew what we wanted and he provided options based on our requests, not what he thinks we should have. The first thing I noticed was that these Odysseys didn't have NEARLY as much body/cosmetic damage as should normally be expected on this year model of vehicle. All of the vehicles looked nicely cleaned and free of any major dents/dings/scratches. It's refreshing that they took such good care of their pre-owned cars. Also, prices and features were clearly visible on the windows. We test drove a couple vehicles and finally settled on a 2009 EX-L with DVD. We traded in another vehicle and got good value out of the trade in as well as negotiated a respectable discount on the MSRP. One of the really great parts of this buying experience was the transparency of the communication between the seller and the "finance team in the back". Instead of the typical "I got to talk to my manager" walk, Blake instant messaged (IM'ed) with them and allowed the customer to work the negotiations through Blake right at the desk. There was no salesperson getting up and coming back in repeatedly... This really helped eliminate the "car buying experience" stigma. All my questions were answered and I felt confident we purchased a good vehicle at a good price from a reputable dealership who truly stands behind what they sell. After the sale, I found out that one of the wireless DVD headsets was broken and I e-mailed Blake that night. The next day, he called me and noted he was sending me a new headset to replace the broken one free of charge! It's little things like this (exceptional service)that provide a remarkable car shopping experience and builds brand loyalty. Could we have purchased something similar for a little less somewhere else? Perhaps but I don't think so. When you factor in the great customer service, easy purchasing experience, no pressure sales, and knowledgeable salespeople, you really can't go wrong. More

I worked with Kutav Ozgenc and Danny Feeney, and both gentlemen were extremely friendly and thorough. They took the time necessary to work through my deal, which ended up being almost 4 hours. They weren't aggressive or in a rush and I left the dealership with the car I wanted at a price that I was comfortable with. Since then, I've had to call twice with questions and they responded to my calls promptly and were happy to help. This was my second purchasing experience at Leith Honda, and I will gladly be back for a third when it comes time to buy my next Honda. More

Maddie Zaalouk was just the perfect salesman. Salesmen have a reputation of being pushy and making you feel uncomfortable, but Maddie is just the opposite. We really enjoyed his non-pushy style. I was looking for a used Honda Accord and the first person I spoke to after arriving at the dealership was friendly and asked me exactly what I was looking for and didn't try to show me or sell me any person I spoke to after arriving at the dealership was friendly and asked me exactly what I was looking for and didn't try to show me or sell me any cars that were out of my price range or vehicle type. The salesman I worked with, Bobby Mearkle, worked harder than any of the other salesmen at other dealerships that I went to. He listened to what I wanted and worked hard to find a vehicle that was a perfect fit for me, even after he showed three or four cars that I didn't like. He remained committed to looking for the right car until he found the right one. Go to Leith Honda and ask for Bobby. He was a great guy and wasn't pushy like most car salesmen. More
