Needed a warranty repair while traveling for my brand Pilot Elite. They said the part was not in stock and would take a week and a half to order! An unexpected twist I have owned Honda’s for the past 30 years so I’m a little biased in my opinion. However, despite the reliability and steadfastness of the brand itsel I have owned Honda’s for the past 30 years so I’m a little biased in my opinion. However, despite the reliability and steadfastness of the brand itself, not all dealerships are created equal. I have always dreaded dealing with car dealerships from previous less-than-stellar experiences over the years, but Autopark Honda has worked diligently to change my mind. I had my first experience with them in 2011 buying my first minivan from them. The salesperson was polite but not pushy and made the process as easy as possible. From that point on, I had all of my maintenance done there and the service department was equally pleasant. This week, I was in for an oil change and inspection and my well-loved van was still running beautifully even with almost 120k miles. While there, Barbara Yarber approached me and asked if I had considered trading in my van for a newer model. Definitely not—I was really enjoying not having a car payment. Granted, most dealerships are currently bending over backwards to move last year’s models, but they offered me a deal I could NOT refuse. I even test drove 2 comparable models at 2 other dealerships. The vehicles nor the dealerships could compete with Autopark Honda nor the deal they offered me. Barbara herself was impressive. She was kind and patient and never once came across as a salesperson. She worked FOR me to get the best deal that both Honda and I could be happy with. Despite not coming across as a salesperson, she single-handedly convinced me that not only did I want a new car, but I NEEDED one. She wasn’t wrong. I am now the proud owner of a Pilot. My teenagers are thrilled to no longer have to be carted around in the “less-than-cool van”. More

The dealership changed my shocks and struts because my Pilot was making a noise when's i was going over uneven terrain. A month later I noticed that the noise continues. I went back to the dealership. The Service Manager (who was amazing) took the time to ride with me and understand the noise I was referring to. After our ride he said he will take care of it. We made a subsequent appointment. The dealership replaced the stabilizer rods on he front axel free of charge. They could have charged me, but they wanted to make sure that the issue that was originally diagnosed was handled properly. If this is not customer service then I don't know what is. Very unexpected in the auto industry. Thank you for taking care of us in such a great manner. More
