As always, Lehigh Valley Hyundai performs top-notch service. Service advisor Jake clutter was outstanding, keep me informed along the way and doing everything he could to make things smooth. Also, I’d like to mention service advisor Mike Paxson, who went out of his way to help me out when I picked up my vehicle, and Jake was off and Mike’ even made sure to send my key fob that I had left behind via FedEx overnight, which I received the following day. I sent my car in Wednesday the 14th with a door latch issue that is a commonly known issue with extended warranty. They didn’t have part in stock and needed until Monday. I was told then it would be read issue that is a commonly known issue with extended warranty. They didn’t have part in stock and needed until Monday. I was told then it would be ready end of day Monday. By 5 pm I had no update and the car wasn’t ready. Tuesday comes and goes and still the car wasn’t ready. Finally Wednesday the car was ready to be picked up and when I went in to grab it the windows were all smudged from the technicians hands and there were black finger prints on my door handle and upholstery that I can’t get out. Customer service and cleanliness needs to improve. It’s not my fault that this work is being done for free with a warranty and the attention to detail and work should be done in the same manner as someone who was paying. If I had a choice to take it anywhere else I would. Also Hyundai needs to recall the door latch so that people can get all 4 replaced since when one goes they eventually all will. Why do I have to make 4 appointments to fix the same thing? More

It’s always a bit stressful with the dealer recommended pricey service items. I bought a pre-owned certified vehicle with about 14,000 miles on it. EVERYTHING was up to snuff at that time being certified. pricey service items. I bought a pre-owned certified vehicle with about 14,000 miles on it. EVERYTHING was up to snuff at that time being certified. At a routine servicing around 20,000…it shows CAUTION about it needing a Fuel Induction Servicing & Throttle Body Service. At 20,000 miles? And it was just tip top serviced at 14,000 miles when it was certified? It’s hardly been broken it yet at 20,000 miles. Also stressed a wheel alignment at this early point already. Kind of crazy. Would it be nice to have it done? Well sure if I had money to burn…but I bought a newer certified vehicle so I wouldn’t need these bell & whistle services for years. Since then I haven’t been feeling as pressured about that kind of stuff this early in the car’s life. But the 30,000 is approaching. I’m sure that’ll be a doozy. The other classic is the cabin air filter. In the Winter, I had JUST replaced it myself with a brand new OEM filter. Two weeks later during an inspection/oil change…I see a YELLOW CAUTION about it about it on the service report. Two weeks later? C’mon man. Nuts. Unfortunately I wish only the truly necessary service items would be requested. It’s stressful worrying about things that are most likely superfluous on a vehicle with this low of mileage. More
