Dave was very helpful. I took my vehicle to have the brakes done back in August 2024. It was during the serving they found an oil leak. I called to make an appointment to have the neutral safety switch replaced. The dealer called me back and said I had to get a diagnosis performed first and it will cost $80. Then once they did the $80 safety switch replaced. The dealer called me back and said I had to get a diagnosis performed first and it will cost $80. Then once they did the $80 diagnosis they called and said they need to perform a more in depth diagnosis and it will cost another $180. I told them I would not pay both costs, so they waived the initial $80. After the 2nd diagnosis they confirmed my Tucson needs a neutral safety switch! They wanted over $500 to replace the switch and also said they would not replace the switch without also replacing the gear shifter cable which would also be over $500. I am taken aback that they did not honor my initial request to just replace the neutral safety switch and they wanted me to pay over $1200 for the installation of a $50 part! They also offered to give me an appraisal on the worth of my Tucson and never did the appraisal. More
