I will start by saying I am not a car salesman and have no affiliation with any dealership. That being said, overall I had an excellent experience at Legends. This is in stark contrast with the last plac no affiliation with any dealership. That being said, overall I had an excellent experience at Legends. This is in stark contrast with the last place I purchased a used car (Gladstone Dodge). This time I ended up purchasing a 2010 Camry for a very good price. The price that was listed on the internet was not correct but I was not told this until I arrived at the business. That ended up being a minor issue as my sales representative was Jayvan and he was very helpful and apologetic. Although I did not get the price on the internet, he was helpful in obtaining a good deal. I test drove the vehicle and enjoyed the ride. We moved to working on the the price for the car, the value of my trade, and the oveall payments. Jayvan's bottom line was "what do I have to do to get you in this vehicle?" He was not pushy, but sincerely wanted to sell me a car. We worked out a deal that was within my purchase parameters. I ultimately worked with the finance department and got a great rate on my financing and a fair amount for my trade. During the closing with the finance department they were friendly and not too pushy I did get a warranty with no deductible as long as I bring the car to Legends. Again, it was not high-pressure. Jayvan then stayed late with me, over an hour past closing time, while I cleaned out my trade. Overall, this was a very enjoyable experience. The facility is beautiful. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and I believe I obtained a good deal. I would recommend Jayvan to anyone and will do so in the future. He was knowledegable, professional, and had an easy going feel about him. I will be in the market for a minivan in the future, and will be going back to Legends and Jayvan. More
After working with another area Toyota dealership for hours unsuccessfully, our experience at Legends Toyota was, in comparison, easy and efficient. We knew exactly what we wanted to purchase and our purchase terms. There was some back and forth in the negotiation which was a bit aggravating since we were very clear about the terms we needed to seal the deal and the fact that we were in no hurry to replace our current vehicle unless the terms were in our favor. I suppose this is the nature of the beast in the auto industry but it was not particularly pleasant. Given that we have a sterling credit score and were ready to commit to the purchase immediately, it should have been a much easier negotiation. We were seconds from driving off the lot when a last second deal was reached. A bit too theatrical for my taste but agreeable terms were reached and we drove away in our new car. Everyone we encountered from the receptionist to financing was friendly and helpful. JaVan was exceptionally courteous and friendly and has since followed up to make sure we are happy with our purchase and the service we received. I love the car! The other dealership with whom we had worked earlier in the day (Olathe Toyota) had assured us that were no 2011 models of our vehicle choice to be found anywhere. They led us to believe we had missed the window for closeout 2011 inventory. Not only that, but we were unable to display inventory from other area dealerships on our phones while inside the dealership! Very deceptive. I found this to be an unfair business practice since there obviously were vehicles that matched our requirements close by. I am driving it. The dealership lured us in with favorable trade in promises and 0% financing on our vehicle model only to have no inventory. Instead they pushed us to buy the 2012 model at a higher interest rate and lower trade in. I believe this is a bait and switch business practice. I will never do business with that dealership nor recommend it. If you want quality service and fair prices, go to Legends Toyota. Ask for JaVan Clayton. You won't be disappointed. More

I felt like Doug was pushing me towards a car that I didn't want. I told him I wanted a Toyota Yaris but when he showed me the only one they had on the lot it ended up being a manual and granted I can didn't want. I told him I wanted a Toyota Yaris but when he showed me the only one they had on the lot it ended up being a manual and granted I can drive that, I'm not very good at it. When I told him it wasn't what I was looking for he showed me a corolla which I felt was out of my price range and especially for a 2004. He kept pushing trying to get me to buy it which made me uncomfortable. At the very least he did have my car appraised for its trade in value which I found helpful for the next time I go looking for a newer car. More
The entire experience was the best that I have ever had when buying a car. Dean took the time to show me several cars in the price range that I had requested. When I picked out the car that I wanted, I took it for a test drive. Well then of course I really liked the way the car drove and I bought the car. Dean is not the type of salesman that will pressure you at all, he thouroughly explains everything about the car and will answer all questions that you may have. You are treated like a person and not just another person trying to buy a car. After Dean had finished all of the paperwork needed he then introduced me to Chevis Reid who was the accounting speacialist. Chevis was professional as well and explained all of the paperwork that I was signing easily to understand. I really felt like I was the only customer that mattered, I was treated with respect and I left the dealership with a great feeling that these people really do care about their customers. I highly recommend Dean Nowe at Legends Toyota to buy your next car from. Thank you, for a great experience. More
They had a large inventory of the vehicle we were interested in. Jay was very friendly and was not to pushy to get us to buy. Asking what payment I wanted to make and then asking for my down payment before I had even met with the finance manager. I was suppose to be called by Wednesday (after buying the car on Saturday) to set up a time to put on the side molding. I finally had to call the dealer on Friday to set something up. I was put on hold for a long time until they found the part that wasn't even under my name. More
