A nightmare experience with this dealer. We've (Charlie Ross & I) made a deal on the phone about the Toyota Camry Hybrid 2009 an hour before I come in. What pissed me off was when I'm the way there they call and told me me "somebody considering buying the car" and I told them I'm 5-10 minutes so, we'll talk when I get there. Once I got there, they told me a car was sold to someone else, but less than an hour earlier that we've made a deal. They told me sorry that sorry this about the situation and so just to excused that they sold the car and lead me to look at another similar car that has higher mileage etc. I say NO business with them no matter what due to not trustworthy and lying, and walked out the door. In summary, bad and a nightmare experience with this dealer, not trustworthy, lying, unprofessional, and not a good place to shop for a car. I would never in million year to consider this dealer no matter what they try to offer. Better of stay away from this dealer! More
I brought in my trade-in with some skepticism; but Toyota offered what I thought was a fair price and I was ok with it. JaVan was extremely friendly and helpful. He was able to work out a deal so my trade-in offered what I thought was a fair price and I was ok with it. JaVan was extremely friendly and helpful. He was able to work out a deal so my trade-in was paid off, and the relief I felt from that was tremendous. I am also INCREDIBLY relieved to have a Toyota again - I've owned three and am so glad I could get into another one. However... I decided to lease a new car so I would have a lower payment and JaVan was accomodating - however, he kind of glossed over the details and terms of the lease. As someone who's only purchased used cars, I felt very nervous (although he did clear up most of my mis-information about the myths of leasing). I was also left alone a lot for what seemed like very long stretches of time...I wasn't sure where JaVan went or what he was doing for some of that time. Ultimately, I got a great car for what I think was a fair price. I would absolutely do business again at Legends Toyota - but it would be wonderful to see a female sales associate instead of all men. JaVan was a joy to deal with - very easy to get along with and a great sense of humor and knowledge about the products. More

I was browsing for hybrids at Legends Toyota in KC KS on a Sunday morning before the dealership opened. Lloyd Gillman, a sales manager, approached me and asked if he could help in any way. By the time I was about to leave, Lloyd introduced me to Gilbert for further assistance. Lloyd wrote down some info about my plans and then I left. The very next day I had been contacted and told that there had been offers on my trade in. Long story short, after doing some online research, by Tuesday I was driving a used (600 miles) Prius c. I felt as if the days of high-pressure, one-sided-car-buying-experience were over. It only took a little over an hour for all the paperwork and prep to be completed and I was on my way. By far the best car buying experience so far for me. Gilbert even called two days later to learn if all was copacetic. More

Shawn was our point of contact before we showed up at the dealership, and he did his best to make sure we picked the car we wanted. He was knowledgable about the product, being able to answer questions about dealership, and he did his best to make sure we picked the car we wanted. He was knowledgable about the product, being able to answer questions about navigation and horsepower. He took our needs into account, such as a moonroof, power everything, power seat, and spoiler. Aaron Hansberry is the best auto salesperson that we have encountered. He is knowledgeable, polite and patient. He has great follow through on what he promises. Because of my research we initially walked out because one of the sales managers quoted us a figure for our trade that was several thousand dollars less that what KBB and NADA said it was worth plus it was $2000 lower than what another dealer had offered. His response to me was well "that is their opinion". While I was out of town the following week I received an email from Aaron saying that they could raise their offer on my trade by $1500. I was still not satisfied with the offer but because the vehicle we were looking at was so aggressively priced we went ahead with the deal. Kori in their finance office was also pleasant and did a good job of explaining things although I have yet to hear back from her on a quote I had requested on an extended warranty. In fairness to her the dealership was/is having IT issues so I don't know if she received my email. Overall this place is pretty darned good and I will certainly be referring my friends to Aaron. More
