After spending time looking for what I wanted in a truck, I found it in the Tundra. Knowing what I wanted was the easy part though, I quickly found out that finding it would be much harder. Luckily Juan and McKenna at Legends Toyota in Kansas City, Kansas took on the challenge and out of 12 specific requests for what I wanted with my truck he was able to get it to 11 of 12. The fact that it's not 12 for 12 is even insignificant because the 1 item I missed out on was replaced with other features. Overall the entire process and quality of care from Legends Toyota went above and beyond my expectations. My trust is in their hands when it comes to any vehicle purchases. More

My experience at Legends Toyota was a bit mixed since there were some constant miscommunications about vehicles. I had originally gone in to purchase a used vehicle, but opted for new since used vehicles there were some constant miscommunications about vehicles. I had originally gone in to purchase a used vehicle, but opted for new since used vehicles at this dealership were more expensive. My frustrations occurred when it was communicated to me that there were vehicles available for viewing, but upon arrival I was told the ones set aside for me to look at had been sold. This happened on a couple of different occasions. No, I did not have a deposit down at the time but when it is communicated to me that there is a vehicle to look at for purchase and I arrive to find that the vehicle has been sold, it does not make for a good experience -- especially since I live 45 minutes away from this dealership. The miscommunications continued through the purchasing of a vehicle, as I was told one day my vehicle had arrived only to find that it was not actually there and was still being built. Another time waste. At this point I had already put down a deposit, but it seems this sales team suffers from a lack of clear communication with customers. It also seems this sales team could benefit from learning to communicate better with each other, as I was told these instances happened by "accident". My reasoning for still rating this dealership at a higher level was solely because of my work with the sales associate Kimberli P. Kimberli helped me sign my paperwork at time of sale and was very patient as we sorted everything out. She was knowledgeable about procedures and if she didn't know something, she was very quick to go double check answers with someone who did know. She also was graceful in managing my frustrations about the whole experience. Overall, I would still recommend this dealership only because of the care given to me by Kimberli, and also thanks to the sales manager, Amber, for smoothing things over after her associate, Juan, created some very frustrating experiences for me. More
