Legend Nissan- By Far the Best Nissan Dealer On Long Island All of the vehicles that I have leased over the last 30 years have been Nissans. During that time I have been to most of the Nissan Dealers in Nassau All of the vehicles that I have leased over the last 30 years have been Nissans. During that time I have been to most of the Nissan Dealers in Nassau County. Most of the experiences at other Nissan dealers have been horrible. I have purchased my last 2 vehicles at Legend in 2011 and 2014. I have to say that my experience at Legend has been way better than any other dealerships that I have been to. I dealt with Chris Williams for the purchase of my 2014 Rogue. He was extremely professional and was diligent about following up and worked with me to help me get the best price. There were no games and no nasty suprises. Chris as well as managers Kevin and Adam did everything in their power to make sure I was completely satisfied. In my opinion this is the only place to purchase or lease a Nissan on Long Island. Don't waste your time and energy with other Nissan dealers. More
I don't know what to say? I have purchased a Pathfinder and leased two Muranos from legend. The last two leases didn't go well. The first one in 2007 ended with me having to get a refund, because the numbers that I got from the finance manager just didn't add up to what I agreed to with the salesman. The second lease in 2011 was not much different, but, this time I stayed until the salesman, finance manager and supervisor came to an agreement on the price. Although the numbers kept changing, no one could explain why. I guess I am a sucker for punishment, I went there to lease a 2014 Murano, same car, and asked for a price in the same ballpark of my existing one. When I asked what the invoice price to me was, I was told, "why do you want to know that?" "It's only the bottom line that counts". Well, to make a long story short, I never did get a quote, was told the numbers are not going to match what I wanted, so I left. Leased a new 2014 Acura RDX AWD for slightly more that I was paying for my 2011 Murano. The staff was pleasant, salesman nice, finance manager did not pressure me and I was out of there in less time. If you want a quality car with no hassle and straightforward answers, go to Acura of Huntington. More

I worked out a price over the phone and they tried to sucker me into paying an extra $2,000 by saying someone else has offered them that much more but since I called first they would give it to me for that price. I told them to let them have it. Two hours later they called back and made up a new story about twisting the managers arm. Give me a break. Everyone was very pleasant in person. I wanted to title the vehicle myself but they wouldn't let me. I explained I wanted a commerative tag multiple times. Of course after 5 to 6 weeks I received the non commemorative tag. They also told me I signed a piece of paper saying whatever money was left over from titling they would send me. It's my belief the document stated the opposite. That I forfeit the leftover portion. To the tune of $150. Very untrustworthy place. More
I purchased a 2013 Nissan Rouge from Legend Nissan. The Salesperson (Bryant) was very helpful, friendly, courteous & professional. BUT CAUTION!!!!! BE CAREFUL!!!!! After negotiating what I felt was my best deal, and it approved by the sales manager, I came to pick up my new car. I had to deal with the FINANCE MANAGER. That is where YOU MUST BE CAREFUL! The deal changed. The contract was already printed with an extended service plan. I was told that my Navigation and stereo was not covered with my warranty and if I did not by the plan and if something went wrong with the Navigation, I would be stuck. I found out after the fact that he lied to me. He also said if I decided that If I didn't want the extended warranty that I could cancel it. This was true, but he neglected to tell me that there was a service charge to cancel the extended warranty. In the end it now cost me $25.00 more a month than the original price that I negotiated. Don't sign on the dotted line until you read everything. I didn't do that and now I am screwed. YOU ARE BETTER OFF STEERING CLEAR OF LEGEND NISSAN. Go to any other NISSAN dealer! More
STOP NOW AND READ THIS!!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS. So, my husband decided to try to go to our local dealer... I knew someone who worked there and told me not to go but he went anyway. TO DO BUSINESS. So, my husband decided to try to go to our local dealer... I knew someone who worked there and told me not to go but he went anyway. The day my husband purchased the vehicle the General Manager called me on a Saturday to make sure they sold us a car. The deal included my Ford Lease to be returned and while the vehicle was in there possession the RIGHT SIDE WAS SWIPED!! Now I received a bill for $700 where they decided to tell me I can’t get the money unless i fill out their survey from Nissan Corporate Completely Satisfies and don't forget to make sure when the question asked you if you were pressured to fill out this survey satisfactory say NO. I never received this survey and how amazing that the General Manager Adam and Kevin no longer return my calls but don't forget they called me on a VERY BUSY SATURDAY to sell me a car!!!. Wait it gets better, so i called about my refund and the receptionist told me they were not in. Guess what I showed up and Mr Kevin was sitting there ignoring my calls and messages, AMAZING! DON'T TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP they will sell you a car and anything after they will ignore you and your calls. THEY PAY BIG MONEY FOR THEIR POSITIVE REVIEWS!!!! From setting an appointment via phone in a different state until my last interaction with them, I have been met with and given the utmost respect and gratitude for serving my country. The dealership as a whole went above and beyond to make sure that not only did I get the car that I wanted at a great price but that I was completely satisfied and happy with my buying experience. The vehicle I purchased was exactly how it was described on line and they(the Dealership) confirmed my sense of trust by getting me into a great extended warranty to cover any future issues. The vehicle itself is great not only to look at but to drive and on mileage. The dealership still contacts me to ensure that I am satisfied with my vehicle and assists me if I have any questions or concerns. The staff is courteous, pleasant and helpful and the sales manager treats you as family and not just a customer. He honored the deal and was honest about inventory. He took a lot of time to explain the new car features to me before leaving. I was going to give up on Nissan (sad since my husband and father have Nissan's and I currently had one and the lease had 3 weeks remaining) from a very low class experience at another dealer. Meeting Mr. Rhodes was relieving and non-stressful. It made getting a new car a pleasant experience again. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a Nissan vehicle.
