Horrible way to do business, dishonest, and just a waste of time. Let me start by saying that I’m not new to negotiating on cars, but this is the first time having this type of dishonest experience. of time. I started the conversation with kennya saying that if they cannot meet my price, that it’s okay and I wouldn’t want to waste our time. (We’d be driving from 3 hours away). She gave me written deal for the price I wanted on the new car and said she was sure they can get me what I wanted for my trade in. (This is after talking with her manager and giving me the written price). I told her again that I don’t want to drive 3 hours and find out that you can’t meet my numbers. She assured me they can. Or else I wouldn’t have made a 3 hour drive with 3 young kids!! Long story short, we get there and they wanted to play their games of how low can we go 🙄. Then managers Ismael and Ricky proceeds to say that they never approved those numbers. Like what?! I’m pretty sure your salesperson got the final numbers for the new car bc you all spoke about it. It’s your dishonest tactics to get us in the door. Then salesperson says, “ I never said we can get those numbers. I said we can get close” Sir, ma’am, I wouldn’t drag my kids 3 hours out and pack all those snacks if I had heard that you can get CLOSE! It’s laughable. I had 2 other dealerships with written deals and I could’ve gone there if you couldn’t make the deal. I’ve had Honest salespersons tell me they can’t meet my numbers. And that is totally fine! Just don’t waste people’s time especially if they are coming from way out of town. We are not perusing and looking to negotiate. We just left because we do not give our business to shady people. Hopefully this helps someone in the future thinking about making the drive out there. More
