Jeannie, Your time is valuable and it was never our intention to waste it. Before you made the drive here, we informed you that our used car manager needed to see your trade before we could give you a final number. Unfortunately, the offer we made on your trade did not satisfy you. We did tell you that we would honor the same deal for the new vehicle that we told you over the phone, but we would not be able to give you more for your trade because that was not the true value of your vehicle. If the value of the trade in was not the true value, then you need to be transparent about how much you can offer. Don’t bait and switch. If you don’t want to take the blame then train your sales people better. And fyi, we got more for our trade in somewhere else and overall better deal.
