As an older, widowed female I entered the service dept knowing I could have been taken advantage of. I did not have an appointment & stated my 2018 Tiguan's problem was an intermittent "clunking". At VW they said we'll be glad to check it out but it could be a bit of a wait. The diagnosis was loose "nuts & bolts" connecting control arm to axle (I think). No charge. Under warranty.
