As an older, widowed female I entered the service dept knowing I could have been taken advantage of. I did not have an appointment & stated my 2018 Tiguan's problem was an intermittent "clunking". Afraid to drive it I had stopped at two different mechanic places near my home, neither of which could determine the source. At VW they said we'll be glad to check it out but it could be a bit of a wait. The diagnosis was loose "nuts & bolts" connecting control arm to axle (I think). No charge. Under warranty.
