I came from Lawrence, KS because I was looking specifically for a used Outback, and pickings were slim in LFK. Paul Sergeant worked with me for a long time, he was patient, and polite, letting me spend as much time as I needed to look over several cars. He also worked to get a price that was fair, which was what I had budgeted into my monthly expenses. Finally, I accidentally left something hanging from the rear view mirror of my old car, and he grabbed it, and told me he'd mail it back. Very great experience, probably the best I've had at a car dealership. More
Disrespectful, Uniformed, and Incompetent What a total waste of time and energy--especially when you don't even get the work that you were promised. I'd brought my car into this location awhil What a total waste of time and energy--especially when you don't even get the work that you were promised. I'd brought my car into this location awhile back for an oil change and decided to get an interior detail. As soon as I got in the car and pulled down the visor, it was covered in dirt. Then I opened the console, also covered in dirt. I made a yelp review at that time and the owner offered to top off my gas the next time I was in, so I STUPIDLY removed the Yelp review. On 2/27/2019, I went in for an oil change and concerns related to my undercarriage and tires due to driving through a crater on Ward Parkway. They found much damage to my vehicle, and suggested I needed to replace my fender liners, sway bar links, transcooler lines, and inner axle seals. They also mentioned my battery was getting low. It was late when I was there, and they did not have the parts I needed in stock. We agreed they would place the order and call me back. The next morning, conveniently and totally coincidentally, I am sure, my battery was dead. IT IS NOW ONE MONTH AND ONE DAY since I took my car in, and I have RECEIVED ZERO FOLLOW-UP. They did not call about my ordered parts or when I can come in. Apparently, I am supposed to drive in a compromised vehicle, and apparently they are so flush they do not need to conduct actual business. 1) Advice: DO NOT EVER COME HERE!! 2) Question: DOES ANYONE HAVE A CAR REPAIR SHOP THAT IS RELIABLE??? The response provided thus far was a private, rude, and unhelpful message sent to me by Jason Brink. More

For 30 minutes of works, it took them a 4 hours without telling me that they have missed my car. This place is so disorganized and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone whether to buy or service. More
Disrespectful during negotiations Sales called me from Lee's SUmmit Subaru and asked me what pricing we already got from competing dealers in the area. I gave them the price. They come Sales called me from Lee's SUmmit Subaru and asked me what pricing we already got from competing dealers in the area. I gave them the price. They come back with something over $2000 over the price I already gave them in a separate follow up call. I tell them I have heard both from friends and also members of the online community (along with this site) that the dealership can be bad on price and not friendly to negotiate, and how this clearly demonstrated that. They rudely finished the call with me, and frankly that is just disrespectful. Car salespeople should already be trained with a thicker skin and more calm than the folks at this dealership. Also Sales Manager Jason clearly is not a guy who budges on price. His price offered was not even close to initial online pricing provided by the other KC dealers. Either side can be unhappy during any negotiation process, but you have to understand where the customer is coming from if your price is almost 10%/$2500 over what they asked. More

I was looking for a Subaru, but unfortunately the charity was too strict on gas mileage requirements and a Subaru, though built to last a long time, were rarely sold at the dealer used under the 65k limit set by the charity. They offered a used 2015 Honda Civic, with 44k miles. They even lowered the price to meet the amount set by the charity. Perfect! It was more than I could have asked for! I looked many places, and finally returned to Lees Summit Subaru for the best deal I had found. They worked with the charity, and within a week I drove off with a wonderful new car. I love it, and had such a great experience working with everyone at Subaru. More

As a St. Louis, Mo resident who had haggled back and forth with dealerships in my area, I asked Liz if her dealership could make it worth my while to travel across the state to buy the 2018 Subaru Outback 3.6R from her dealership. Liz offered me a GREAT DEAL below my lowest St. Louis offer, picked me up at the Amtrak station in Lee's Summit, had all the paperwork in order with our agreed-to price, and provided straight forward answers to all my questions from the car's features, warranty, and Subaru's financing. I HIGHLY recommend you give Lee's Summit Subaru a chance to make your next car buying experience excellent. Just ask for "Liz". More

Traded my Forester for an Impreza some days ago. I had some issues with the service before and I had some reservations to come back there, but after being contacted by email by Lyz Myers offering a pay less program I went. No regrets. Since first moment I was treated with professionalism and felt like family. No pressures, no lies, no games. Very friendly and she gave me was she promised. At the end we bought 2 Subaru. An Impreza and a crosstrek. We are very happy with them . Not forgetting to mention the five star follow up by nic Barnes . He has all the patient and knowledge for set up and teach you very easy all the features . The financial person was very helpful and trustworthy. Thank you very much. We are happy customers again. Looked around the lot for approximately 15 minutes and had no salesman come out which I didn't mind, but what got me was when we went into the showroom, no one greeted us. We sat in the showroom Forrester and Outback and looked over the other vehicles and no one moved out of their cubicles. We will not be buying there More

They said with the oil change and alignment would take about an hour if they had to adjust anything and would be an extra $109 if any adjustments were made. The timing wasn’t far off I think I was out in an hour and 20 minutes. The irritating part was when they charged me $109 for an alignment that WASN’T needed. They gave me the print out of before and after alignment and everything was green in the before (which means it is within spec) and green in the after. The only adjustment made was a slight toe in on passenger side. When questioned their stance was “we made an adjustment”. It didn’t matter that it wasn’t needed but the adjustment was made and I had to pay. They offered me a “wild card” discount and said they would take $15 off of which I said I didn’t want I just wouldn’t return. Upon leaving I started looking over the “inspection” report they fill out while doing an oil change and found a lot of information on it that was incorrect like the tread depth was 10/32 on all four tires which the rear tires have 35,000 miles and the front have 5,000 miles so unlikely. The brakes were marked as 8mm thick on front and 6mm on rear. The indicator has been rubbing for probably at least a month now so that’s probably inaccurate also. They said they added antifreeze but it was above full when I arrived so I’m thinking that didn’t happen either. Bottom line I feel like I paid for quality service but didn’t receive it. More
