I needed a new car and had bought my first car from Lee Toyota years ago. I loved my old car so much that Lee was the first place I went to look. The moment I got there a friendly man came foreword, Ken, and asked if I needed any help. Through the car buying process I did not feel in any way pressured or pushed to buy a car. Ken was personable and honest. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, joking with me and with each other so that it felt like I was truely welcome and working with people who enjoyed their job. I will in future buy my other cars from Lee and ask specifically for Ken. I will (and already have been) recommending him and Lee Toyota to my family. It wasa great, pressure free expierence. Thanks! This was by far the best experience when aquiring a new vehicle I have ever had. In April 2008, I purchased my third Toyota Camry. This was my first purchase at Lee Toyota in Topsham, which was highly recommended to me by a friend. The whole transaction went very smoothly and quickly. Price was settled on, and financing approved in short order. To my surprise, Joe volunteered to deliver my new vehicle to my home, and returned to Topsham with the trade-in. Joe's follow up calls have been appreciated, and he answered any questions I had. He followed up with us by phone at appropriate times, and did not make a nuisance of himself. He understands that the Toyota brand sells itself. He merely complements the vehicle with his knowledge base. By Joe's demeanor, you would never guess that he is a car salesman. But I would refer anyone to him, who wishes to purchase a Toyota. The Lee Toyota dealership itself is always there to service our vehicles, at a reasonable price with integrity and honesty. Here is an example of their honesty: There is a larger Toyota dealership in South Portland, where we took our previous Toyota vehicle, a Sienna, to have examined a loose rear corner window. Their service department rep informed us that it needed a new electric motor and assembly, which would cost hundreds of dollars. We balked at his opinion, and sought a 2nd opinion at Lee. The service rep at Lee told us that all the window needed was a new clip, which cost us ~$10 plus ~10 minutes of labor. The window was fixed properly at a fraction of what it would have cost at the South Portland dealership. That's honesty, and that is why we will purchase our Toyotas only at Lee for as long as we live in Maine. More

These folks were great. I got a very good price on a new Prius and there was very little pressure. The staff was also very helpful in showing me the little things about the car, like how to jump start it, Prius and there was very little pressure. We purchased a Toyota Tacoma on 10/24/08 to replace a 1997 Ford Ranger that would no longer pass inspection due to rust in the under carriage. We had narrowed our choices to Toyota and Ford, based on review of Consumer Reports ratings (with which we have had consistently good luck in the past). Our first visit was a "browse" of the lot on a Sunday (dealer not open). I went back on Tuesday, October 21 to talk to a salesperson -- drove up, was greeted at the door by Art Fogg, who communicated in every way that he was there to answer my questions. He gave me a thorough inspection of a Tacoma on the lot; we discussed price; and he was very straightforward in what he could do (we had no trade-in). I made arrangements to return on Friday 10/25 with my husband. I learned that this was Art's day off, but he gave me his cell phone # and asked me to call him so that he could come over when we got there. He was very pleasant to deal with; very knowledgeable about the Tacoma; clearly a true "believer" in Toyota -- both the products and the corporate ethic; and completely willing to spend as much time with us as we needed. After we completed the paperwork, he went over the truck one more time to make sure that we were comfortable with driving it off. We would recommend him to anyone! More
