This by far was the best car buying experience we have ever had. Our salesperson, Patricia Hunter, was friendly, courteous and very knowledgable. In August, we were looking for a new Toyota. After contacting Lee, Jill got into touch with us via email and phone, and quoted $X for the model and trim we picked. I replied and suggested the price is beyond my range, but she didn't give an inch over the phone. Later I wrote an email and offered to pay X-1850. I ended my reply email with the line "Please let me know if my offer is acceptable". I thought I had been polite in my reply, but then, I have not heard back from her since that message. It seems that Jill didn't get the email or she didn't like my message. I do recognize that an email can get lost, but almost all dealerships tried to contact me repeatedly even if I choose not to follow up the initial inquiry. So I am perplexed. Initially, I thought my counter offer might be too low and it could be a non-starter. But it turned out, it wasn't. We did get the same Toyota model and trim at another dealership, at exactly $X-1850. So my limited experience with Lee Topsham wasn't the best among my recent communication with many dealers. Maybe it's a one-off thing with Lee Topsham, but I figure it's useful to share, for whatever it's worth. More
Wow! what an experiennce. Been about 20 (plus) years since I purchased a NEW vehicle. The saleman (Eric Gaither) was friendly, non-agressive, informative and knowledgeable without being pushy. Initial finance problems resolved after five phone calls, three visits and over one week of talking. Things seem okay now. Finance individuals need to spend more time reviewing invoices, lease terms, initial three visits and over one week of talking. Things seem okay now. What a kind and helpful dealership! I got a great deal on exactly the car I was looking for and the staff really went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of, down to filling the gas tank and pre- on exactly the car I was looking for and the staff really went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of, down to filling the gas tank and pre-programming the radio stations. This was our first time working with a large car dealership that we've not purchased from before. It took a while for us to get comfortable, and we didn't enjoy the negotiations to get the price fo dealership that we've not purchased from before. It took a while for us to get comfortable, and we didn't enjoy the negotiations to get the price for our trade-in that we wanted, but we ended up feeling positive about the experience and will return for our service. Joe Nason is a nice addition to the dealership and is a sincere, down to earth salesperson. Jill was very responsive to our needs and has wonderful people skills. More

My wife and I would like to pass along our positive experience with Lee Toyota. We drove home our new Camry Hybrid today and want to thank Jill and Joe for their service. This is the first Toyota we h experience with Lee Toyota. We drove home our new Camry Hybrid today and want to thank Jill and Joe for their service. This is the first Toyota we have ever owned and this was our first sales experience with Lee Toyota. Our search for a new car started over a month ago at two Toyota dealers closer to our home in Camden. We had a deposit on a Camry Hybrid at another dealer but got completely hung up on our Cash for Clunkers vehicle. On the last day rebates were avaiable for the Camry, when the dealer with our deposit said they would not accept any Clunker deals until the program rules were clear, I started calling other dealers looking for options. Jill answered the phone at Lee. Within 10 minutes, I had a competitive price on the one Camry Hybrid they had left and a commitment to the Clunker Program. No hard sell, no games. Very professional. So we drove to Augusta, got our deposit back, picked up our clunker that had been sitting at the other dealer, drove to Topsham and bought our car from Jill with help from Joe Day. We we arrived, the paperwork was started and everything was just as Jill and I had agreed to over the phone. The dealership was very busy, but we moved right through without serious delay. My wife wants to thank Joe especially for the time he took to explain the features of our new Camry and it's hybrid system. More

We have never had such friendliness and care in purchasing a car. The price, we understand, is not negotiable on this 2010 car so could not rate it here. More

We explained what our intentions were & Joe was very patient & professional in meeting our requests. I have never been treated so nicly before while searching for a car! Not only did Joe explain each vehicle,but he showed and explained in detail from under the hood to throughout the interior and trunk.We negotiated an acceptable deal & left driving a new Corolla! We will highly reccommend this dealership & Joe's great way of making a potential customer not feel pressured or intiminated!
