The fact that I had to go to another car dealer and come back to Lee's and say that I was offered a better trade-in somewhere else isn't something I liked. I would like to see "up front" figures that are the best you can offer instead of having to go back and forth between dealers. I feel like I spent too much of my time negotiating. When I mentioned that my girlfriend and I would discuss the final offer you made "over a glass of wine" and that I would get back with you it wasn't received very well. Buying a car is not something most people take lightly. More
Going into a Lee dealership is a positive experience. We have visited other dealerships and walked out before even discussing price or looking at cars because of the reception once we walked in. When we walked into Lee in Topsham, it was obvious that all salespeople were busy with customers. But within a short wait (a few minutes), Mike Walker introduced himself and asked if he could be of service. Having been in sales previously, I complimented him on his sales techniques and friendliness. As a matter of fact, he is the reason we stayed and purchased the vehicle on the spot. I went to Lee Toyota in Topsham, Maine with my husband and two young kids looking to buy new or a good used car. I met with Joe Day. He is very knowledgeable, explaining to me all the interior features of car, etc which I find it very helpful and during this whole process, I don't feel pressured to buy a car. With two kids, it is impossible to shop around for the best price, Joe and Lee Toyota give us a good price for the 2010 Toyota Corolla that I don't have to shop at other dealership to compare prices. It is a very positive car shopping experience and I would recommend anyone I know to buy at Lee Toyota if they looking to buy a car. More
Had a really great experience at this Toyota - did not feel pressured to make a purchase right off the get go. Some dealerships are really in the market to sell sell sell and will bombard you at the moment you pull into the lot - not the case here. Very refreshing! Brian was outstanding! He listened to what I needed and what my budget was - then fitted me to a truck vs. just selling a product at the highest price. He was also very knowledgeable and had a very laid back, no pressure approach - so I felt very comfortable working with him. I knew getting into a Tundra was going to be a bit pricey off the base model - but its what you get when you have a solid brand - just wish the "Toyota name" wasn't so expensive from the start! However, I am very satisfied with the price I walked out the door with for a 2011 truck - payments will be very manageable! So far very satisfied with the Tundra! Would recommend Lee and Brian to anyone!! THANKS! More
I absolutely dread truck shopping. After returning from Afghanistan I decided to treat myself to a new truck. I like to buy local, so I went to Lee Toyota for the first time. The most important part to me was the "no pressure" approach from Brian and Tom the sales manager. William was warm and approachable and a very good teacher. I came into Lee Toyota with many questions left unanswered from other dealers. I enjoyed working with Brian Tremblay and he did his job very well. I had stopped into the dealership on a scounting expedition and he succeeded in selling me a new car. He was very helpful and polite throughout the process. He greeted me at the door when I came in and was highly attentive thoughout. There was nothing high pressure and he established rapport with me as the customer qucikly and gently. I believe that the dealership gave me a very good price for the vehicle I purchased. I am pleasantly amazed to be able to finance the vehicle at 0% for five years. The only unpleasant part of the experience, and even then it is only mildly unpleasant, is the waiting around as an offer is made and then the manager has to be consulted and then phone calls made by the manager to a higher authority. At least that was what was represented was happening. It is not unlike waiting in a doctor's office, except without the old magazines to thumb through. Had I known I was going to buy a car before I walked in the door I would have brought a book with me. Start to finish the whole process took four hours, which I think is not bad for a major purchase, particularly when I was not really prepared to purchase a vehicle when I walked in the door. More

Never before in our many years of buying cars have we ever had anyone so knowledgeable and willing to share his Toyota, especially Wiliam Eggleston. We learned more about auto construction and features of the car we were interested in than ever before in a car shopping experience. William is courteous, an excellent listener, most personable, and responsive to the customer's needs and wishes. He spent a great deal of time evaluating our needs and coming up with the product that would most suit us and our budget. In the process we met the general manager, the accounting manager, and several others who all exhibited the same friendliness and thoroughness in answering our questions. We left feeling comfortable with our purchase decision as a result of the quality of William's service. He seems to thoroughly enjoy his job and that makes the difference. We are confident that our future servicing needs aill also be met with care and thoroughness. More
