Joe Day wasn't a high pressure salesman. He worked with me to get me into a car I wanted for a fair price. He listened to what I wanted, what was important and tried to sell me something I couldn't afford, me to get me into a car I wanted for a fair price. I often feel as though the salesmen only want to speak to the man I'm with (even though it is me that is buying the car) or they worry more about what I can afford for monthly payments. I find that very insulting. I can handle my own financial affairs and prefer to work to find a car with what I am looking for in the price range that is acceptable to me. Joe was not your typical salesman. He was calm, listened to what I wanted, and worked with me to find the right fit. He also took the time to go over my new car to ensure I knew all the finer details of the options on the vehicle before I took ownership. Great experience. More
I needed a car in a certain price range and I was looking to get a good deal for my trade in. I was looking for a Corolla S, sunroof, $250 or under a month and a bunch of other little things. He was a great sales person to work with. He is very friendly and I wasn't afraid to ask silly questions with him because I knew he'd answer with real honesty. I plan on having my new car for a long time, but if anything were to happen- I'd go back to Chet before anyone else. More

It is also so very fascinating to watch the instrumentation as you drive. I just finished my first tank of gas. The on board computer registered 40.2 mpg I also figured it mathematically with miles and gallons by pencil and got 40.1mpg. So this info is in sync.The mpg’s are still rising as I drive it now. I don’t usually brag about a new car but this one is very exciting. The sales person Trisha Hunter and the dealership were also very extra ordinary. I am proud to give this vehicle a 5 star rating. Our salesperson, Kevin Cough, did an excellent job--he was knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. Mike Walker, with whom we finalized the deal, was also fair and easy to work with. Finally, Mike Cosgrove was extremely helpful when he was made aware of a problem we had regarding the lack of a Satellite radio in the car--something which we had expected but which wasn't available when we purchased the vehicle. Mike C. went out of his way to make sure we would be taken care of and we were and we appreciate it. I also thought the service dept was very good about reinstalling equipment from my old vehicle onto the new one. All in all we were very pleased with everything. Update: I've had the car for about six or seven weeks now and all is well--had one slight problem, called the dealership and received immediate attention and satisfaction. More

This is my first Toyota ever and I feel the best thing I did was walk in to Lee Toyota of Topsham that day! Mike Callahan was great!
