My experience at University Mazda was so much different (and better!) than other dealerships I've used. From my initial inquiry through completing the paperwork, my experience was really positive. Eric was super knowledgeable about the car and its features. He's laid back and I never felt any pressure. Winnie was efficient and had a good sense of humor throughout the paperwork process. All the employees I encountered in the showroom were very nice and welcoming. I'd recommend University Mazda without hesitation. More

"Buying a car" is sometimes considered right there with "root canal" as far as something to look forward to. That wasn't the case at all - I'm a very happy satisfied customer. I very much enjoyed working with Dennis Thomas who assisted me with the last two leases and I will keep working with him as long as he is working there, he is fast, a good listener, very knowledgeable and just really nice to be around. I have also had a very good experience with the service team at University Mazda, they are always pleasant and very helpful, it makes all the difference when you are doing something that is not always so fun. I walked over to Costa’s For a nice breakfast while the car was being serviced. I like Saturday appointments which they support. This service appointment was a result of a communication problem between parts and service concerning a dealer installed option purchased at the time of sale. It took two appointments when it should have taken one. That’s the only reason I gave a lower score, 4 stars, to Customer Service. In any event, it all worked out. More

Well worth sticking with this dealer we bought a Mazda 5 in 2008. Primarily because it has sliding rear doors. But is has done everything else right for us as well. So we bough a mazda we bought a Mazda 5 in 2008. Primarily because it has sliding rear doors. But is has done everything else right for us as well. So we bough a mazda 2 to go with it, and are just as happy. NOT happy to walk through the showroom and find no models with sliding rear doors. Guess the Maxda 5 get another 10 years. More
Good price, okay communication, proper R&R Repair but . . . I asked about "battery maintenance" to assure that none of the computers' memories would be lost during the replacement of my Mazda 3's bad battery. I asked about "battery maintenance" to assure that none of the computers' memories would be lost during the replacement of my Mazda 3's bad battery. I was assured that this R&R was typically done with a battery maintainer. My car's cumulative average mpg data was lost, and possibly other settings still to be discovered. (Radio still tuned to favorites!) Back to square one on that. Disappointed. It would have been a bit less disappointing if I'd simply been told that this can or will happen. Otherwise, I thought the price was fair, most of our communications were clear and the R&R was performed without further incident. The multi-point maintenance/repair checklist is a very helpful touch. More
