I spent two weeks on the internet narrowing down my search along with time spent at dealerships test driving and looking over 8 other vehicles until I called Lee Johnson's and talked to Jeff. Of all the dealerships that talked about lowest pricing and customer satisfaction Jeff and Lee Johnson's delivered on their advertising. An indium that was taught to me by my father, I abide by and teach my children is, don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk! Lee Johnson’s “walked the walk” on this deal. When I go shopping for a car I don’t want to hear a lot of bravado. When I find the car I want and say what price I am willing to pay let’s cut to the chance and agree on the price and cut a deal. If we can’t agree on the price then tell me that and I’ll spend my time looking elsewhere. In just two phone calls with Jeff I had a price that I could be happy with and the vehicle was in the condition he described. Our efforts in finding a vehicle at this time was twofold; one to replace our family transport that was recently totaled in an accident and two, use this as an opportunity to find a salesperson and dealership that we can build a relationship with for future purchases. Jeff and Lee Johnson’s won our trust and we will bring all of our car shopping to them as well as refer any family and friends to them. More

We went in armed with information as to how much we should pay for our new CX-9 grand touring, and we got the exact price we wanted to pay, as well as the zero percent financing option. The salesman, Mike, was more than happy to give us plenty of time to test drive the car and think it over. He went above and beyond in giving us the advantage in this sale. The only criticism was the wait between our decision to buy the car, and the actual business and closing process, which was about two hours. The business manager, John, was very helpful in explaining all of our financing details, and given the number of customers waiting to complete a sale, he did an excellent job of getting us in and out as quickly as he could. We would definitely recommend this dealership when buying a car. More

We arrived at the dealer with only the intention to take a look at the car, get a quotation and then keep looking at other dealers and "refine" the price over phone/email. We did some research for the model we wanted and we had already a number that we were comfortable with. Nicholas was friendly and showed the car to us (had to bring it from the store since it was not in the parking place) explaining about the features. He gave us the car's price and we started the negotiation. It didn't take long and we got the price we wanted. After agreeing on the price we remembered about the all weather mats and he added those for us too! End result: we left with the car for the price we wanted. Very good experience. We will buy again from Lee Johnson. More
Mr. Strausbaugh presented himself in an honest and straight forward manner while negotiating a sale. I was referred to Lee Johnson Mazda through my company’s website that listed this dealership as one that offered employees of the company I work for discounted prices on new car sales. Pete Berkey responded website that listed this dealership as one that offered employees of the company I work for discounted prices on new car sales. Pete Berkey responded to my inquiry with the offer of “Our most competitive selling price up front, with no hassles and no haggles.” After exchanging a couple of brief emails, I dropped by the dealership and was directed to Nick Roche. After being told they did not have the exact model I wanted in stock, I took a test drive in a similar model and opened a conversation about the model I was interested in. Nick found a few models that were close to what I wanted. One in particular was quite close. Nick wrote a price down for the car that was a little higher than I was expecting to pay (due to the car having an additional option). I told Nick that I would buy the car at the price he offered. Nick then went to talk to Pete about the price, and returned with an offer to sell me a different car that was $800 more (with additional options I did not want). He told me the original car at the price they offered was no longer available, which was odd as I was the only person in the dealership at that time. When I told him no, and began to leave, he asked me to stay a few minutes longer (which I did), and came back with another offer that was still $600 more than the original offer they made (which I still turned down). At that point, I was told that they did not have to honor the original offer they made, and they were doing me a favor by getting this other car from another dealer. I was shocked at the attitude they took (even though I was quite polite with them), and was left wondering what happed to Pete’s offer of “[his] most competitive selling price up front, with no hassles and no haggles.” It felt more like a bait and switch with a rude and arrogant attitude. I have dealt with terrible staff at car dealerships in the past, but none so bold as to make me an offer, only to switch it for a more expensive car and tell me they are doing me a favor by selling it to me. I will never do business with Lee Johnson Mazda, nor recommend it to anyone. For what it’s worth, the day after leaving Lee Johnson Mazda, I contacted another dealer and bought the exact model I wanted for less than Lee Johnson offered me originally (with no haggling or hassles). James and Jeff seemed to go out of their way to have a no-pressure attitude, and we really appreciated that. When I went to pick up the car, Jeff helped me transfer my car seat and other items from the rental to my new car, and that extra touch was really nice. Thanks for the good experience! More
