After adding more oil the check engine light went off. The technician continued to be sure this would resolve our issues. He recommended he keep the car over night to see the problem didn't recur again the next day. He did his homework and told us that Equinox has this problem and that there was an alert; however, our car was definitely over the mileage that was warranted. He told us what oil to use, check the oil level every 3 weeks and an oil change every 3,000 miles. And made sure we knew what the right oil would be. We were only charged for the diagnostic testing. You have a customer for the life of the car with service like that. In addition, we were in the shop the same day of my call for help. Very nice! More
