Would not buy a car from here. The sales representative was very nice and helpful, but the number’s guy as they call it was not. When we tried to negotiate we got a higher price instead of a reasonable price. Then we ask for an older car and he still was not willing to negotiate. It seems that he had no desire to sell a car to a Hispanic couple like us. Had never experienced a negotiation of a used car where I get a price even higher than what is mark for online. Then, didn’t even wanted to lower a penny from a much older car. We really felt discriminated. More
I just moved into the area and was hoping to work with the local Honda dealership to replace my 2018 Civic EX-L. The salesman, Quinn Royal has done a fine job of keeping me updated about the car's build and delivery dates. The Sales Manager Tom is always quick with a joke or funny comment. He keeps the atmosphere relaxed and I really appreciate that. The Finance Manager, Chris Beck did a fine job explaining the various financial and warranty options. Unlike my previous dealership, he didn't try to pressure me into purchasing items I didn't want. So far, I'm very satisfied with this dealership. The final test will be when the car arrives and I take delivery. To be continued... More
Never again will Lee Auto get my business. I went to Lee Honda in Auburn to see about trading in my paid off 2014 Nissan Sentra with 112,000 miles. Donnie Henderson takes a look at my car and doesn't even tell me until the paperwork is in front of me "your trade in value is only $1,000.00". I quickly tell him never mind with this location as it's a low ball number and I'll go back to your Augusta location as they 4 days ago just offered $3,500.00 for my Nissan. The floor manager I believe then quickly come into the conversation just to studder and try and explain why they could only offer $1,000.00 but he could call Augusta and confirm it and go through with the 3,500.00 offer. That should have been my red flag to just leave but I liked the brand new car that I was shown so Donnie Henderson shows me 2 numbers, one for financing and one for leasing. Leasing is clearly cheaper but I've never had any experience with leasing so it's like a foreign language so I begin asking lots of questions. Donnie Henderson specifically tells me if you choose to lease any say in a month or a year you decide you want to finance to keep the car come back in and see me, I'll have the new paperwork drawn up and signed and you just swing back in here and sign them and you'll be set to finance... I sign the lease (only because he's made me think I change change to finance anytime I want no issue) and within the first week of driving it my wife and I decided we do want to own the car and not lease it and called about switching it to finance. I speak with Donnie Henderson and tell him this and his reply to me is "well you already signed the lease so I don't know how that works." I reply "Donnie, you just told me this a week ago and said it would be no issue" and he tells me he will have to contact financing department Chris Beck and see what options there are and call me back. I never do get to talk with Chris Beck after playing phone tag with him repeatedly. Too funny, almost as if that's how they wanted it to go. Then a week later I'm getting a letter in the mail from Lee Auburn saying I got denied for vehicle financing....way to go you shady, lying, deceitful piece of xxxxs, you successfully covered your xxx with that piece of paper all your lies and xxxxxxxx goes away. I highly recommend everyone stay away from this place!!! Shady as xxxx!!! More

A great place to buy a car, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My wife and I were interested in several preowned SUVs. Jim Fournier helped us compare the mileage, savings, safety ratings etc knowledgeable staff. My wife and I were interested in several preowned SUVs. Ultimately he found the model we were looking at, and then got us a better deal with the same make, but one year earlier and with a lower mileage. He's definitely someone who cares about what his customers are paying for, and he saved us about $4,000. We love our CRV, and we highly recommend this dealership. More
Updated review: I have raised this review from 1 star to 3 stars because after seeing the below review the service manager Mark did reach out to me. He followed up to see how things were going. Mark did take ownership of the issue and that is to be commended. ------------------------------------- Lee Honda Management (Adam Lee)...I invite you to contact me to resolve this. However, your Auburn location has failed us. We bought a new 2019 HRV from Lee Honda Auburn...it now has only 15K miles on it...never had an issue but we received a recall for a fuel pump. We scheduled the fix about 3 weeks ago at your Auburn location. After the fix we were driving back from Boothbay, Maine and the Check Gas Cap light came on. We pulled over to ensure the gas cap was clicked in place...which it was. Called your service department and was told this was not related to the recall and scheduled another service appointment. We went home and parked the car in the garage. When we woke up the next morning the entire house smelled like gasoline and we discovered a gas puddle underneath our vehicle. We called your service department again and got in to have it looked at a little quicker. My wife went in to drop the car off and was told no loner car was available and that she could do a car rental. Only after complaining that this was due to faulty maintenance that she was told the Lee would cover the rental. Then we found out that the recall repair was not done correctly as a gasket from that sits on the fuel pump was not installed correctly. Fast forward to 10 days or so later and we are driving and the check gas cap light comes on again. The next day traveling back from a medical appointment in Portland my wife sees a flashing message that says pull over come on while on the Maine turnpike. She pulls over and calls your service department. They say keep on driving and get it to the dealership. A mile or two later she smells smoke and pulls over again. I call your service department and they say to call the emergency assistance number and that they will tow it to any Honda dealership in the area. They also tell me once again this is not related to the recall. She calls and is told they will only bring her to Berlin City Honda in South Portland. This is where the car is tonight. Call me a skeptic but I am not a believer in coincidence. Never a problem until the recall work and now nothing but problems! The repair included a firmware update which could have affected other things. I expect all cost to be covered...and you need to reconsider you loner policy when it is not the customers fault. Lee Honda / Adam Lee...how will you make this right? This is our first Honda from you but our 4th Honda overall. However, at this point is our last Honda. Jim was very knowledgeable about the car and we really enjoyed his jokes and humor with us, easing the whole process and making us feel comfortable. We were there all afternoon til closing time and he still helped set things up for me and made sure I was all set before I left the lot. My daughter wanted to buy a Honda CRV so we went to the Lee Honda car dealership to look around. We were greeted buy a salesman named Larry Royal. Larry went above and beyond, jumped through many hoops just to try and help my daughter get the car of her dreams ❤ His manager also worked diligently to assist my daughter to get financing with a payment that she could afford. I have no doubt that the commission they received was not nearly what they would normally have received, as they worked so hard giving her every financial break just to see her smiling face as they said "you're approved". I really felt they were as happy for her as I was! Although covid was still a scare, we had to give them both a big hug. We will be back to Lee Honda to see Larry Royal for future vehicle needs! Thank you both from the bottom of my heart ❤! More
