Felt attacked My husband needed a new car , so he wanted to purchase another CRV for me so he could have my old one. My family love CRV's that's all we have My husband needed a new car , so he wanted to purchase another CRV for me so he could have my old one. My family love CRV's that's all we have so that's the only type of car that we decided to purchase so we went online and requested prices from dealers in Maine . In a three-day span we had four different dealers constantly calling in lowering their price so we would buy from them ,on the last day Lee Honda had given us the best price to my husband. So my husband called me as I was working and asked me to go to Lee Honda after work to pick up the vehicle and color that I wanted. So as I was driving there win I received a text from another dealer and I let him know that I was heading for Lee Honda to pick out the vehicle that I wanted , and he would have to give us a better price if you want to do business , he texted me back and gave me a lower price for the color and model I wanted, I called my husband to let him know but he still wanted me to go to Lee since he had told them I would be there after work so I did . When I arrived I told them who I was, it wasn't busy so they must've been around six sales people around me and the sales manager, as we were talking that must've been some kind of miscommunication between my husband and the sales manager because the car I wanted was going to be more money then my husband had told me, now The car was going to be more money than what I could get from the other dealer ,so I let them know that in the sales manager seemed upset and then it felt like I was being badgered by him and he mentioned how he wasn't gonna play this game and how he thought he had to deal with my husband and it was a done deal and how he felt like he was dealing with two different people , then asked me what it would take for me to buy the car from him and not in such a nice way and I replied the same price as with the other place was going to give it to me . The only thing that saved the sale was the sales lady that was helping me and her name is Dawn Because I did not want to buy the car from them after that point, as I was going to the bank to go get the deposit for the car I called my husband and I let him know what it happened and told him I did not want to buy the car from them because I have gone to many places and I've never been treated the way I was treated there by the sales manager not for dollar purchase and certainly not for over a $25,000 purchase. We bought the car from them but I was not happy about it and buying a car should be a happy experience not a bad one . More
