Painless car buying experience I purchased a VW from LaSueur that was a manufacture buy back because of an electrical problem that had been fixed. I was apprehensive regarding purchase a car with this blemish on the title. The savings was enough that I felt it was justified. Time will tell if it was a good decision but currently (after 4 days) I have no regrets. Steven and the entire LaSueur company was very easy to work with. Very low pressure sales process. The dealership is very clean. All the employees seem very happy to work there. I have not received any service from LaSueur but when I do I will be back to give an additional review. More

Great no pressure experience! I am a home mechanic and work in Information Technology at a local high school. Anyone who works in education knows that we do not make an abundance I am a home mechanic and work in Information Technology at a local high school. Anyone who works in education knows that we do not make an abundance of money. So I usually buy my cars from private sellers in poor condition and fix them up myself. I wanted a Chevy Volt for my next car. They are very hard to find private party, so for this one I had to look at dealerships. Before buying a car at LeSueur, I had visited several dealerships. I won’t give names, but my first stop was a reputable dealership on Power and 60 area. It was not a present visit to say the least. Sales staff were pushy and knew nothing about the car. I don’t expect them to know everything about every car they sell, but when I called in they said the car was available, but couldn’t find it when I arrived in person. Took 15 minutes to even find the car. Then they tried to sell me another car, even though I specifically said I wanted the volt only. Then their “out the door” price was full of things I didn’t ask for, including extended warranties and other “coverage”. Similar experience at 2 other dealerships. I finally went to LeSueur, and made a purchase, which is prompting me to write this review. Everything was excellent when working with the LeSueur group. The “front office” staff were very kind, had a nice waiting area, and most importantly – great sales staff. I specifically worked with Kyle, he is the man! All of my questions were answered, no feeling of being pressured to buy the car, and got a great price. Let me give a specific example. When we were signing paperwork, one of Kyle’s questions was “would you be interested in an extended warranty”. I said no, and that was it. He did try to sneak it into the price like others, didn’t start asking me why not, or push me into changing my mind. He simply said ok and we moved on. He knew I was not interested, and didn’t try to make me feel uncomfortable when I said I was not interested. I had some follow up questions after I bought the car, which Kyle answered for me and didn’t act inconvenienced. I bought the car “as is” with no warranty, but they said if I have any problems just call and they will do their best to make it right. I feel that the statement was genuine, not just something to get me to buy the car. Let me also point out something about their pricing. Dealer fees are not the same across the board!!! You will save money here vs somewhere else. Doc fee at every dealership I went to was $399-$499. Here it was $199. They are on a county island so taxes are lower too. I paid just over 6% tax here, where every other dealer was in the 9-10% tax range. Sounds like a small difference, but that can save hundreds alone… depending on the cost of the car. Love the new car, and it was so refreshing to work with a dealership that treats their customers with respect rather than just a number. If anything changes, I will be sure to update my review. But I don’t think I will need to. More

Steven is an incredible Sales manager and goes out of his way to ensure everything is correct and that you are completely informed of any issues with the vehicle you have purchased. The research that was done to make us feel very comfortable about our purchase was truly above and beyond what you would expect. In our situation we needed to get the title from American Honda Finance and they got them on the line negotiated what was needed and helped us to make the right decision for us and our New Acura. James was outstanding in getting this all arranged and delivered us options to make it all work. I like that they were calm, concerned, professional and truly made us feel like family. Partner not Opponent This past Monday night I received the news that no car owner wants to hear…your warranty claim has been denied. The news only got worse from there. This past Monday night I received the news that no car owner wants to hear…your warranty claim has been denied. The news only got worse from there. My mechanic then decided to drop the news that the car was in need of further engine work and considering that the initial claim was denied, it was only logical to assume that the next claim would be denied too. He suggested that I consider selling the car. With that news, I went to LeSueur to do a little car shopping. Having been recently divorced, which had a dreadful impact on my credit score, I was not looking forward to the prospect of negotiating for a new vehicle. Once I had decided on a vehicle, the shop mechanic inspected my Audi. That’s where the news got worse. In fact, the engine did not need work. It needed replacement. It was effectively blown, and so too were my prospects on getting a new car as I still had an outstanding amount on my loan. And so, the bad news was shared with me by the Sales Manager who took on the role of being a partner in helping me find a new vehicle and not an opponent. Steven LeSueur truly went above and beyond to help me find a vehicle that both suited my needs, but also was acceptable to the financing bank. He even reached out to his insurance contact to see if anything could be done to appeal the decision from the disreputable warranty company that I had used when I purchased my Audi. I was in an embarrassing and uncomfortable situation that Steven could have simply walked away from, but he didn’t. He worked with me on every aspect of finding a new car and did so in a compassionate, non-judgmental and efficient way. Due to the complexity of my situation, compounded by the late hour in which I arrived, Steven and his team worked well past closing to get me into a new vehicle. Needless to say, I am extremely grateful to everything that Steven and his team did to help me. I now have another pleasant car buying experience at LeSueur. Thank you Steven! More
