I found the van I wanted at a pretty good price. I ALWAYS request the written O.T.D price breakdown before deciding if I'll go to the dealership. I get it & was stunned! Van price: $11,999 & O.T.D total: $14 request the written O.T.D price breakdown before deciding if I'll go to the dealership. I get it & was stunned! Van price: $11,999 & O.T.D total: $14,284.74. I thought, what the heck? LA max doc fee is $200. I live in TX & tax rate is 6.25%. So base tax is $749.94 + misc. DMV fees of maybe $100-$125. So, $11,999 + to be safe max doc fee of $200 & let's say $1000 taxes, again to be safe. Altogether = $13,199. That leaves $1,085.74 unaccounted for. I asked & was told nanocure paint protectant BS that is supposedly already on the vehicle. A bs ADD-ON MORE THAN THE TAXES! Uh no. Otherwise I would have bought it yesterday. Horrible way to treat people. More
