Response from the sales manager: Nicole, I wanted again to apologize for any misunderstanding relating to your interest in purchasing the Honda CRV. I understand your disappointment that vehicle was sold to another person. I want to recap the numerous opportunities you had to secure and buy the CRV. Nicole, you contacted our BDC on 11/15 and inquired about the Honda. You did not offer to place a refundable deposit on the vehicle, the appointment was scheduled for that evening, and you came into the dealership. You did not want to make a decision on the CRV until you spoke with your husband. To accommodate your needs, we extended you the courtesy of an "overnight test drive." When you returned on 11/16, you again did not want to make a purchasing decision. On 11/17 your husband made an offer that was significantly under out internet pricing (by the way we had the number one priced vehicle within 500 miles) and wanted an additional $1500 of "free accessories." We explained to you and Rory at that time we did not have that kind of markup on the CRV. You declined to purchase at that time. From 11/19 through 11/23 we attempted without success to contact you by email, phone, and text which you declined to answer. On 11/23 Destiny reached out to you and you stated that you had been treated "badly" because we could not accept your offer on the CRV. I contacted you and Rory on 11/26 and offered a discount on the CRV and the accessories at our cost. I informed you at that time there was activity on the CRV and it would not be at the dealership very long. I offered you a price of $18,498 with the "Lifetime Warranty." You did not commit to the purchase at that time until you were provided a "Carfax" and more information about the "free warranty." I called three times on 11/27 to reach you and try to conclude this transaction. On 11/27 we again attempted to earn your business on the CRV and emailed the information to the address provided. Rory informed Destiny that the information went to his spam account and he would review. On 11/28 you requested again and received the information on the free "lifetime warranty." On 11/28 you requested and received all of the service records on the vehicle. I personally called your husband Rory and spoke with him at his shop, and he said he did not have a lot of time to talk (it was extremely loud). I asked Rory to call me back, he did not; instead, he called Destiny and requested more information such as a "maintenance schedule." I again telephoned and spoke with Rory, and he said he was "interested" in the CRV and would let me know. I called him back on 11/29 and informed him that we would honor the price until the end of the month and wanted to know if Thursday or Friday was better to complete the transaction. Rory informed me that you sleep till 8 pm and after that, he has to watch the children. Rory said he could not come in till Saturday. At that time I made it clear to Rory this deal needed to be completed before Saturday 12/1. I offered to stay late on Thursday or Friday to accommodate your needs. I asked multiple times to have the deal completed. I also suggested that Rory come to the dealership Thursday or Friday to complete the transaction and agreed to have you come in on Saturday to complete your part of the transaction (we offered to stay after hours) Rory declined. All we asked was for someone to come into the dealership before the end of the month and start the paperwork that would have secured the CRV. The vehicle was sold to another consumer that drove from Texas to Kansas to purchase the CRV. On Friday 11/30 I spoke with Rory and informed him the vehicle was sold. Rory came into the dealership that night to complain (if only he would have agreed to come in before the CRV was sold.) I offered to duplicate the CRV at the same price with a "lifetime warranty." I found two other CRV's that would have worked through our buyers including black on black color and was again "waiting" for a response from Rory. We read your "second review" and apparently we are not going to be able to satisfy your needs at this time. Again I apologize for the misunderstanding and wish you well in your search for CRV.

Response to Kia’s xx response... ABSOLUTE LIES!!! We offered to put $500 down, Mark refused to take it. You only tried to reach us by phone the week of Thanksgiving...the point of harassment, up to 3 calls a day, and never left a message!!! Only one, the first one of Destiny's emails went to spam/ junk. It took you 2 days to answer the questions about the warranty. You never provided the full service records that were available through carfax. We were told we had to purchase a carfax to get it ourselves. We didn't receive the answers about the warranty, or the few and incomplete service records until the 29th. We never asked for a maintenance schedule. Mark, not Kevin, offered to stay late. He never said anything about activity on the car, but did express his “opinion” that it wouldn't be there long as most salesmen say to sucker you in. Mark stated that the price would change on Saturday, if one of us didn't come in and sign on Friday. Chris acknowledged the email I sent on 11/29 confirming the price and our intention to sign paperwork Saturday morning. On 11/30, after they sold the vehicle, Mark offered to secure us a comparable vehicle if we removed the post/review AND we agreed to buy it ahead of time, SIGHT UNSEEN! Mark also said on 11/30 that if we had put a down payment on the vehicle that they would of held it...YES the same person who refused to take a down payment from us the first Saturday we were in there. Very shady business!!!

Ryan, I am so sorry that you had such a bad visit with us. It looks like you were going to be financing with us, so you did receive the $850 discount and as to the interest rate part of things that is entirely dependent on one's personal credit and your credit does have some bumps and bruises which makes it difficult to secure a more aggressive rate. None the less we still fought hard with the lender to get them to help us out so we could secure the deal for you. Unfortunately, we were not successful in doing so and when we parted ways you were going to speak with a family member about co-signing with you so you can get a lower rate. And yes we offer to all of our customer's certain protection packages that they can elect to keep in the deal or they can decline these protection packages just like you chose to do so yourself. We want to make sure we are doing everything we can to give every one of our clients the opportunity to protect their investment. Now as to us selling the Jeep to another client, we did sell it because you refused the offer that we could get secured for you.
