The staff was very helpful from the start. They did everything in their power to make sure I got approved so that I could get my car when my lease was up. I've had my car for one year now and it has gone into the service center 5 times. Only once did they not charge me and I have the "service car package warranty" I brought it in because I had no back lights service center 5 times. Only once did they not charge me and I have the "service car package warranty" I brought it in because I had no back lights while they had it they cracked my battery and I had to replace it. They never admitted "Lawless" was at fault! They wanted $300.00 for a battery, replaced it with my mechanic for $76.00. They totally over charge. More
This is the first time we have leased a car - all others were purchased - and we really shopped this deal among multiple Chrysler dealers as well as Toyota dealers (we ended up with a Town & Country Limite were purchased - and we really shopped this deal among multiple Chrysler dealers as well as Toyota dealers (we ended up with a Town & Country Limited and had considered the Toyota Sienna as well). This dealer was the most straight forward in breaking down the numbers and NOT playing games, e.g., "come back to us if you find a better deal and we will match or beat it". They gave us their best upfront. At closing, there was the right amount of salesmenship when it came to extras. There were some confusions on the part of our insurance company and the dealer performed with great professionalism. The salesman (Sham) delivered the car (we are 40 minutes away from the dealership) last night and took great care to walk through the multitude of electronics and gadgets. Too soon to review the quality of the service department, but if the sales and leasing side are gauges, I expect great service as well. BOTTOM LINE, WE WERE TREATED FAIRLY AND WITH RESPECT, and if we like the car, they will have definitely earned our business for next time around. More
I have never been more disappointed with a dealership. They were overpriced, charged me for services they didn't finish (when I tried to get the credit back they fought me on it and still refused to give They were overpriced, charged me for services they didn't finish (when I tried to get the credit back they fought me on it and still refused to give it), they chose not to service or even notify me of a warning that was coming up on my dash regarding my 4WD until after I had picked it up and started to drive off the lot, when I returned with the complaint they blamed it having noticed the warning "late in the day"... it was about 3 when they noticed it. I filed a complaint with their customer service and NEVER heard anything back... overall it was the worse experience I have EVER had with my car and can only suggest that no one use their service in the hopes that others do not have to go through the same experience. I brought a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for service(purchased elsewhere.) The symtoms included a "stuttering" in the front end while braking to exit from a highway. It started around 15k miles service(purchased elsewhere.) The symtoms included a "stuttering" in the front end while braking to exit from a highway. It started around 15k miles and I thought it was caused by rumble strips. About 2k mi later(I'm a little slow but hey it was a new vehicle) I took it to Lawless where I was told the front rotors had to be replaced. I asked why so soon and was told they were warped probably because they heated up and I went through water, like during a rain storm. Who would of thunk. A vehicle that can climb mountains but should be garaged when it rains. It cost about $350 to have then replaced.19K miles later same problem. I return to same dealer who says need new rotors front and back about $850. I asked if I would need new rotors every 20k miles and he said probably. He claimed that there was a problem but Jeep had cured it by using different calipers in earlier models including the '03. Would not offer any adjustment(last jeep I purchase) I took it elsewhere and had the job done for $550. Another issue I mentioned during the first visit was that while accelerating the transmission would "clunk" at 19mph and 29mph. His answer was "it's a charecteristic of the transmission." My response was,"that's like saying a limp is a characteristic of a bum leg." I emailed the dealership no response. I emailed the company and got a canned response to the effect that they were sorry they didn't meet my expectations. Are you kidding? Were my expectations unreasonable, that rotors and brakes for that matter should last longer than 15k and the vehicle should not need 3 out of four sets of rotors in the first 34k miles? I just found this web site and wonder if anyone else had similar problems. If you need service you are better off with a trusted local mechanic. I found one at Burke's Automotive on Main St in Woburn, MA skyhawk66r@aol.com More
