Sleazy new car pricing practices - PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS! Very sleazy pricing practices on new car sales. Just came from there, had THEIR website ad in hand, they evaluated my trade, and came back with a wor Very sleazy pricing practices on new car sales. Just came from there, had THEIR website ad in hand, they evaluated my trade, and came back with a worksheet. Buried in the worksheet was the cost of the vehicle at $2,000 HIGHER than their website ad for the EXACT car we were discussing! When I questioned the sales girl on it, she just put her hands up and said "that's my manager that did that, not me!" It was a sleazy tactic to attempt to squeeze $2,000 more out of us! The website ad lists the car at $31,343. The worksheet had the price at $33,343, and all she wanted us to look at was the nice trade in value they were giving us, and not look at the vehicle pricing on the sheet! If we had not paid attention to the details in the worksheet, we'd have totally gotten screwed! Make sure you go through all the figures in detail if you're going to buy from this dealer.......we didn't buy there, and are on our way to another dealer. They totally take advantage of people's lack of knowledge in the process. Totally sleazy. BEWARE! More
Terrible Customer Service/Management Worst customer service/management ever! I have been a long standing customer of theirs, have purchased cars, serviced cars, and bought parts for my W Worst customer service/management ever! I have been a long standing customer of theirs, have purchased cars, serviced cars, and bought parts for my Wrangler there. Went in wanting to trade in two vehicles for a used Grande Cherokee. Found one that we liked, test drove it, everything was great, until the offer for the trades. The Wrangler was well below what any research proved it to be worth. Alex the manager came over to talk to us about it. Talk about a stereotypical used car salesman! In our negotiations, he came up to a "hypothetical" number that seemed more reasonable, but we just didn't love the Grande Cherokee enough to pull the trigger. Cut to a month later, we have now been to several dealerships, received several offers, and driver dozens of cars, still not finding the right one for us. We found one of the Lawless website, and made an appointment to see it. Waited 10 minutes past our appointment time, test drove the vehicle, decide to start talking numbers....again are low balled on trade values. (low balled by 8-10K). Again, Alex comes over to talk to us. He again does his used car salesman tactics. Throwing out hypothetical numbers, fast talking, talking auction details, etc. When we discuss his previous offer for the Wrangler, he states that the number he gave us was a hypothetical and he never would have given us that trade value anyway. When we questioned his sales tactics, he claims he only cares about money. Granted it is his job, but he is selling to the public. When I called him on this, he back pedaled claiming "Well, yeah it's about the customers too..." He told us he was unwilling to move any more on values or his car price because he wouldn't be making enough money on the deal....again I go back to the fact that I have been a customer of theirs for close to ten years. Too bad he is such a slimy salesman...the service department has always been great to us. Will NEVER go back, and will be advising family members that have also been long standing customers to avoid as well. More

They had the only Citadel in the area with the features I was most interested in. After the test drive, I decided to ask what was the bottom line price I could get for the vehicle? Myself and the sales person went back in and he wrote up my offer and brought it to the sales manager Alexi. There was no back n forth, it was a direct negotiation with the Sales Manager and in the single conversation we arrived at a number. Shook hands and processed the paperwork. I was done in 2 hours, this is how every dealership experience should be, to the point, no BS and just do the deal. I've never experience this level of competency and willingness to be forthright in their dealings. Well done, I pick up my new Citadel on Saturday! More

She showed me the controls in the car, which made me feel very comfortable. Love the leather seats,back up camera, radio and voice activation system. The back seats had lots of room. I took the car to my parents to see if they are comfortable with it. We all loved it. If anyone wants to buy a car at Lawless see Kanita she is the best. I rate her a high 10. More

Wanted To Purchase a Used 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe DO NOT GO THERE. We drove 45 minutes to look/purchase a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. We had Kanita as a saleswomen. Absolutely dead. They said it was the battery in the remote causing it not to start??? Well I know better. I convinced them to jump it and the used car manager came out to help. The person who was jumping this put the cables on the wrong posts and this caused the something to be burnt out and the was going to have to be brought to a Hyundai dealer to be fixed. I said this was crazy because we came 45 minutes on Labor Day to drive this and all the used car manager said was go put a deposit on it and then you can drive it when it is fixed and walked away!!! Not nice or professional!!! We went into and attempted to put a deal together so I could leave a deposit and they wanted NOTHING to do with dealing. They were not budging on the price and was low balling me on my trade and the used car manager told the sales manager he is firm on the trade value. They tried to get me to finance for 84 months and the cost would be more than a new Santa Fe. After an hour and a half of a manager trying to get me to agree to a payment that was well over my budget and a term that much longer than I was willing to go with absolutely no flexibility my wife and I left. I was even told that they did not have to negotiate because the price was so low they will get that from an auction. They had the SUV for over 2 months at this point. The saleswoman was good but had no say in anything. The manager contacted me 2 times over the next few days telling me it was a great deal but still not adjust the overall deal. 8 days after this started Kanita e-mailed me their best offer which again was not changed and might have even been higher. She e-mailed me another time with their absolute best offer which was still unacceptable and only a few dollars less than where the started. After I told them I had NO interest anymore I noticed they dropped the price over $900 on the web. I guess they had room to move and the auction statement was inaccurate. They were also charging $500 for documentation fee - how ridiculous is that. I will never go there and have already told many about this. Believe me there are many better options so I would stay away. More

How can they charge this much for something that they have to give you and is done by a computer program. The salesman was not pushy, but he was very reluctant to take my offers to the money person. They also told me that because it was an " Internet special" they were not willing to negotiate. One of the things that really turned me against them was when the salesman told me if I walked from the deal he would not get paid as he is not an hourly employee. I could care less how he makes his money. His general manager then came over and told me that even at the asking price I was getting a good deal! I walked out on them and they asked if I was financing. I said I have cash money right here right now. Walked out the door! Will never buy from them and would not recommend them to anyone. They even had the nerve to e-mail me a copy of the NADA price to try to get me to change my mind. This dealership also said the vehichle was a fresh trade and had new tires. Tires were bad a needed replacing. The carfax showed that they bought the car at an auction 3 months ago. Don't buy from them! More
