Failed safety check!!!! I am extremely upset that they failed to do a safety check on a Dodge Journey!!!! The brakes did not work properly and they allowed the vehicle to be driven off the lot!!! The same day of buying the vehicle had to bring it back to get serviced!!! Never told us that we had to bring it to a different location for a Inspection sticker.. The vehicle was not registered when we took it off the lot as well... Even though the plates were transferred it still was not registered!!! More

Thursday afternoon they called and said they were working on the car and would call back and let me know what they found. No call back. Friday I had an appointment for my truck at Lawless. I had to get things out of my wife's car and noticed that they had not looked at it the previous day as they said they did.Was parked where it was from Thursday.They said they would get to her car that day and would check out my truck. No call by late afternoon so I called. I was then told that they were behind and that they could not get to ether vehicle until next week probably Tuesday. I said my wife works at a hospital in Boston and they had two of my cars could they give me a loner. Fist the said no but I pushed and they gave me one. I was told they were 5 days behind. I called Jeff Ray Director of operations on Wednesday to tell him of this poor performance in service and left a message and a brief description of above. No call back.Called again Thursday and left a message again. No call back that day. I guess they just don't care about the customer. More

As someone who is eligible for the Employee Preferred Price, which is rare in this area, buying a car can be a daunting task of convincing the leadership that yes, in fact, I am eligible for the program. The folks at Lawless - Sean, my sales consultant, and Rick, the finance manager, went out of their way to make sure this was a positive experience for me. When I picked up the vehicle, Sean took the time to show me how to operate everything and I was even thanked by the Sales Manager. This was a vastly different experience than what I found at other dealers in the area (beginning with "K" and "HC"), who did not even acknowledge my presence on their lots. Buying a car can be an overwhelming experience but Sean was very professional and made this process less stressful. One of the qualities that I enjoyed most about Sean was that he was not pushy. Going to other dealerships I was having to deal with salesmen who were either too pushy or giving me a whole spiel that I did not want to hear nor had the time to listen. I came in knowing what I wanted and Sean helped see to it that it would work out! He was very respectful and allowed for my family and I to discuss things amongst ourselves before making any decisions. I came in wanting a specific, used, Grand Jeep Cherokee, and that is exactly what I left with. If Sean was not so pleasant to deal with, I'm sure I would of left the dealership unhappy. He saw to it that once everything got approved, I would get the vehicle ASAP. I am extremely happy, and so thankful to Sean for taking the time to explain to me everything that I was getting myself into and answering all my silly questions. Thanks so much Sean!! More

Soooo helpful I live in South Dakota and was visiting Boston. I needed to drive my 2005 Chrysler minivan with almost 150,000 miles on it back home to meet a stone I live in South Dakota and was visiting Boston. I needed to drive my 2005 Chrysler minivan with almost 150,000 miles on it back home to meet a stone cold deadline. Turned out the minivan needed struts, lug bolts, 2 new tires, and a windshield wiper motor. Lawless service department (605) 763-2020 was booked solid for the entire week, but put extra technicians on the job and got the minivan ready for the 24 hour road trip in time to meet my deadline!! Awesome staff and service. I would recommend them to everyone. More
Shady customer service I was looking for a specific auto. They had one and I took it for a test drive. It was over priced and they were not willing to fix a few minor item I was looking for a specific auto. They had one and I took it for a test drive. It was over priced and they were not willing to fix a few minor items. Salesman did not return calls and was not helpful at all. Gave me the run around and left a very bad impression. In the end I found what I wanted and it was in better condition and priced correctly at another dealer. I will never go back to Lawless or recommend them to anyone. More

Then refused to answers calls to the general manager Christopher Chapman and the service Manger John Ogles. The dealership offered to refund the original $350 I paid and charge me $1100 to fix the car, additionally I had to file an insurance claim to cover water damage to the car. One star is generous. We dealt with Sean through the entire sales process and we couldn't have been treated with anymore respect. Sean was professional and answered all our questions with a smile and enthusiasm. He was very knowledgeable about the car and even suggested we look at other models to review other equipment packages offered by Jeep. We thought it very thoughtful and did check out the options. We were so taken with the Overland there was no chance of finding anything else. After reviewing the numbers, we met with Scott Robert to work out the financials. Scott was another person who was respectful and professional. Before we left we met with Jason Kurker the Sales Manager, who thanked us for purchasing the car and wished us full enjoyment of our new Jeep. In all, we had a great experience and would recommend Lawless to our friends. A very heartfelt thanks Sean for a great experience. More
My First Car I am so happy with my experience purchasing my first car. I was worried that the salesperson would look at me and say to himself, "I bet I could get t I am so happy with my experience purchasing my first car. I was worried that the salesperson would look at me and say to himself, "I bet I could get this guy to upgrade really easily." The nice thing about Sean was that he didn't push me and he allowed me to discover which car I wanted through my own process. He gauged my reaction to each car and quickly realized which car was the one for me. I was very impressed by the whole sales team at Lawless because they were very friendly and they knew how to complete the paperwork quickly. I was especially impressed that I was able to drive off the lot same day with my new vehicle even though I also had to set up an insurance policy and get new license plates, which is more paperwork than most people have to deal with when buying a car. If I can get everything done in one day and come out of it with a smile on my face, just imagine how much easier it will be when there aren't those extra steps. More
