Bad delivery experience As part of the sales experience I negotiated to have a class 2 trailer hitch installed and agreed to pay the additional labor charge for installation. As part of the sales experience I negotiated to have a class 2 trailer hitch installed and agreed to pay the additional labor charge for installation. When doing the inspection walk around I noticed that it did not have the 4 prong electrical connector installed. The sales person checked with the sales manager whom informed me that I had failed to order such connector and if I want a connector installed it would cost me an additional $257 for the plug and 2 additional hours of Labor, for a total to exceed $500. The dealership held firm and I took possession of the 2018 Jeep I ordered the wiring harness for a cost of $20 and installed it in 20 minutes . I equate the rationale the dealership took as if I ordered a full meal, but had to pay extra for a knife and fork, because I did not specifically order the meal to include utensils. What should have been a happy event left me agitated and very unsatisfied. More
