Vehicle in for inspection. Laurel had redone the complete brake systems last May for inspection. On this visit, we were advised that "pivots" required replacement for a cost ex Laurel had redone the complete brake systems last May for inspection. On this visit, we were advised that "pivots" required replacement for a cost exceeding $700. I, nor any of my colleagues, have ever heard of "pivots" on brakes. I declined the service and picked up our truck. The Service Advisor could not explain "pivots" either. I took it to another inspection station and the vehicle was inspected, and we were told the brakes were perfectly fine. As a purchaser and service customer of Laurel since 2015, you have just lost a loyal customer. I don't appreciate trying to scam my wife. More
