I wrote a review days after purchasing my used Mazda 6. I was very disappointed in the length of time Allen kept me there. I was also extremely disappointed in the lack of common courtesy anyone in this deal was very disappointed in the length of time Allen kept me there. I was also extremely disappointed in the lack of common courtesy anyone in this dealership showed me and my children while there. That hasn't changed. I can't find that review. So you know the background, I was there over 3 1/2 hours during the middle of the day. I had 2 of my children with me. One sat on the floor. We were at Allen's desk in the middle of the sales office, no walls. Not one person offered to get my son a chair. My kids were complaining to me how hungry they were. Allen disappeared at one point for about 30 min. and came back with a taco bell cup! After hearing my kids hunger complaints he disappears for lunch. He never even offered us a drink of water. I also informed Allen several times I had another child I had to pick up from school, I am an hours drive from home and her school. Yet he appeared to do nothing to get the paperwork done. He got up and disappeared several times and came back with very little or nothing to say each time. When I was finally allowed to leave, I felt very uninformed and invisible and I was 45 minutes late picking up my daughter. As you read below it is apparent Allen didn't listen to me on this day at all. When my husband and I went to pick up the car, Allen was too busy to take us out to the car and do the final go over and hand us the keys. He sent us out with some other guy. I don't know who he was or what his role in the dealership is. I will call him "Joe". My husband noticed and pointed out that several clips holding the trunk liner lid were missing causing a corner of the liner to hang down. Now I know the sale was over and I bought the car As IS, but "Joe" said he could get some clips for us and "put them in the mail tomorrow." He even took a clip to make sure he got the right size. "Wow that was nice" I was thinking, the only bright spot in this whole ordeal. Well, a week goes by and no clips. So I call Allen. It took 3 calls to him that day to get him to admit nothing was done about the clips, I bought the car As Is, "he('Joe') shouldn't have popped off at the mouth like that", and the clips are only "like a buck". I couldn't believe I was hearing this. I explained to him that it wasn't about the cost of the clips. It is about customer service. He offered to send me $5 for the cost to my Brighton address. I live no where near Brighton. I live 60 miles away from the dealership and Brighton. If he had listened to me during the sales process or this days conversations he would have known that. At one point he sushed me! It wasn't because I was yelling. I was explaining how poorly I was treated. It is now another week later. No clips, no $5 in the mail, as I expected. I also had to call them today to find out where my license plate was. My temporary expires tomorrow. It is there at the dealership. They said they would send it out right away. I informed Michelle that my temp expires tomorrow and asked it to be Fed Exed. She put me on hold to get permission. According to her it will in fact be Fed Exed out today. I will let you know if it is delivered tomorrow. Allen did call me last week and left a message for me to call him back. I did. I got his voicemail and left a message. Just wondering what the call was about, as he did not return my call. Maybe he was going to tell me my the plate was in? I may never know. More
Sold used car that needed repairs that cost more than the car, and no return phonecalls from anyone in dealership. The reason car was bought was on the advice of financed manager, who recommended I buy the c car, and no return phonecalls from anyone in dealership. Lets start off by saying this web site gives this dealer 3.4 stars out of 5. If you put this in to a percentage it would be 64.5%. Which if you were to play the odds chances are you would lose. And thats wh 3.4 stars out of 5. If you put this in to a percentage it would be 64.5%. Which if you were to play the odds chances are you would lose. And thats what happened to me I bought a truck from lasco ford on July 29th,2010 their was a couple things wrong with the truck minor things nothing major but I wanted them fixed. So I told the salesmen about the things I told the power mirror was broke the blinker inside was not working, also needed a keyless entry and a key, so when I signed the paper work it was all in writing no big deal he said come back next week and we will take care of it he siad we can clean it all up for you to I had said something about how nasty the inside was. As I was waiting for the paper work to be finished I walked around the lot just wasting time I noticed a couple of employees smoking something they shouldn't have been. I thought what a mistake coming to this dealership, but that isn't the half of it. Got the paper work for the truck got my repairs that they promised in writing I was feeling good about even thought I just witnessed people smoking something. So I leave the dealer get out of town on Owen Rd. go to speed up and the truck won't go over 55mph I only live about 16 miles from fenton I drove the truck straight home. Call the salesmen tell him the trouble he says he will call me right back. He calls and says"theres was someone else saying the truck wouldn't go over 55 the other day". Don't you think you should have fixed it when someone said something? So I take the truck back the next day July 30, 2010. No call or anything for the first week so I call service and ask about it. Service said they would call right back three days later he calls and says it would be $1800.00 to fix. I said no it has a warranty 3mos or 3000 miles he told me no you bought the truck as-is I said no I have paper work on it,I'll call you back he calls back and says yeah it does but theres a $200 dollar deduct.I wasnt in the truck 25 mins have to pay 200 dollars. He said yes. I couldnt beleive it.He said it would be about a week for it to be fixed. A week goes buy I have to call They say there waiting on the warranty company. Then two weeks service manager calls and says it will be ready by the end of the week,so I ask about my mirror and keyshesaid he didnt know a thing about it. Its not in my file? he said no.He said he would call no call I couldn't beleive this is the manager and he don't call. I call monday it will be ready by the end of the week says the service manager I'll call no call Finally get a call five days after they said they would call.Manager says it is still acting up sometime next week.Endclosing this reveiw this my this rolling on 38days after signing paper on the the loan I've made one payment and one my way to send the second payment and I've not even put 50 miles on the truck and will owe money for the repairs. We all know your not going to make everyone happy and your going to get some complaints. If you a gambler and think your odds are part of that 64.5% then take that chance at lasco ford. More
Stopped in to talk to Dan about a new 2010 F150, wanted to trade in my old 2005 F150 which was in good shape. I knew Dan from his days at Brighton Ford. I like to stick with dealers that work hard with you to trade in my old 2005 F150 which was in good shape. I knew Dan from his days at Brighton Ford. I like to stick with dealers that work hard with you, and Dan didn't disappoint. After some apprehension on my part, we worked through that and he included a moonroof for under $350 bucks..which is nice. I see alot of folks having problems on the used side, but the new side seemed to work pretty well. Acutally negoiated until 10:00PM, Dan and Keith stayed the whole time until I was ready...had a good experience. It would be good to do your research before hand though to ensure you know what you want. My Dad also bought a truck from Jim, he did a nice job as well. More
From the moment we walked in the door we felt completely comfortable. I hate the car buying process, but Eric did a great job of making us feel good about the experience. There was absolutely no pressure, h comfortable. I hate the car buying process, but Eric did a great job of making us feel good about the experience. There was absolutely no pressure, he presented us with several options and we walked away knowing we made a good decision. We didn't really think they would be able to help us, but they did - and they did it respectfully. I have never owned a Ford before, but if the car is half as nice as the staff at Lasco I will definitely be back! Thanks for a great experience!!! More
We found the vehicle we were interested online. We contacted them and did not get a response. After multiple attempts, we specifically requested Ryan due to the positive reviews online and the horrib contacted them and did not get a response. After multiple attempts, we specifically requested Ryan due to the positive reviews online and the horrible ones for the dealership. He provided horrible service. He lied about the warranty and never returned calls back. He lied about when the car would be ready for pick up. After we signed the papers and we went to the car, they didn't do any the repairs that was promised. They provided us with an IOU slip that is worthless. We requested to speak to a manager and got Matt LASCO who was very rude, disrespectful and hostile. He said that would "not go over this again" and that he was a LASCO..... The fact that his last name is the same as the dealership means nothing to me. What mattered to me was that they followed through with what they promised verbally and on paper. Instead, if felt like we bought a car from an auction, not a dealership. I now see this place as a bottom feeder and not a real dealership due to how they treat their customers. More

I was very afraid after reading reviews when I brought my used car home and discovered there was bad brakes. We replaced the pads and called Lasco. They not only fixed our car in 2 days but they also gave used car home and discovered there was bad brakes. We replaced the pads and called Lasco. They not only fixed our car in 2 days but they also gave a loaner. While the car was in they found something wrong with the windshield wiper and even replaced that. I am still shocked by all the reviews of Lasco. I had my best used car experience ever. We went there because we needed to get out of a lease early and our credit is not the best. They were even able to help us with that. More
