I was looking for a new (pre-owned)car and I was uncertain of exactly what I wanted. The only thing I knew is I needed something with a hatch that got good gas mileage. Ed was SO patient. I test drove 5-7 cars and ended up with the PERFECT car for me! I got a Jeep Compass with VERY low miles, great sound system and a color I love. Overall it was a great experience and I loved that there was no pressure to buy. Ed was more concerned with getting me into a car that fit my needs than pushing me to buy. I highly recommend!! More

Very angry right now. After purchasing a used 2001 Ford Ranger four months ago, it has broken down. My biggest complaint is that the service department at Lasco should have (or may did) known about its m Ranger four months ago, it has broken down. My biggest complaint is that the service department at Lasco should have (or may did) known about its mechanical problems. Hearing a strange rattle, I took it to a shop in St. Louis. I was told the ball joints were the worst they had ever seen. How did this little detail slip through quality control at Lasco? Or... had they known and willingly sold the truck anyway to gullible me? Buy beware. I should have found a mechanic to check it out first. But then again... why wouldn't Lasco have done this? (This almost amounts to criminal negligence, doesn't it?) Have not contacted Lasco yet and certainly will. I am hoping they will see fit to forgive a couple of car payments (at %25 interest!!!) due to something their mechanics either ignored or never looked into. This is shameful. Does Michigan have a lemon law? More
The customer service that we received was exceptional. The quaility of work that was given was surprisingly welcome. We will recommend Billy to all our family and friends! He was the best! We got the best deal. He knew that we were skeptical with a few things and he showed us in black & white the comparisons. He answered all our questions with the proof to back it all up! We were so impressed!!! We will be back in the future for all our vehicle needs!!! And, we only want to deal with Billy! Tested a Audi A4 and liked it so asked the "best price". The sticker on car said $24,900, they came back with a piece of paper that said that the real price is 27K and the "blowout" price is $24900 price". When they were asked about that fact they said that the internet price reflect that fact that internet shoppers want low prices (as if people in person don't want the lowest or proper price). Told the sales person that seemed like a scam, and he had the gall to ask if we wanted it at the internet price, when told if we bought the car it would not be from him, he said in a calm voice "ok I'll remove you from my call list". It didn't even bother him he tried to lie and to us and pull that scam. More
I took a chance one day and called this dealership to ask about current promotions and offers. I was put in touch with a salesperson (Billy Fohey) by telephone and the process began. After a couple of calls and a visit to the dealership, my husband and I ended up purchasing a vehicle from Billy and we were very satisfied with the service we received. We noticed that even though the dealership was extremely busy with people moving about rapidly, we still received great service!! Our saleperson was constantly receiving calls and had returning customers coming in and he still was able to address all of our needs. Even today on his day off he agreed to meet with my husband who could not be present to sign documents at the time of the sale. He went to my husband's job at an agreed time to get everything finalized. All of our questions were answered and every detail that we asked him to take care of was. This was our first time purchasing a vehicle from this dealership but it won't be our last. I have driven a Chevy for the last eight years that I purchased from a Chevy dealership in Flint. I'm glad I made the switch. We are going to refer as many people as possible to this dealership because great service is not given very often in today's society. I must say that obviously your workers are happy because of something you guys are doing right at Lasco and that definitely shines through to the customers. Kudos to Lasco Ford! More
I had been sold a gray market car by another dealership. Couldn't insure it in the U.S. for less than 3 times what it would normally cost. The dealer didn't want to make it right. I took the car to Lasco, where Angie let me drive many cars to get a feel for what I wanted. I found one that I really liked (a 2007 Focus) and she moved heaven and earth to get me into it. She was just great! Another thing I liked about Lasco was that they are selling my Canadian trade-in in Canada. They told me that they would not do to their customers what the other dealership did to me. Integrity! More
