Drove half way across the state to look at a Mercury Milan we found online. Initially spoke with someone on the phone who wasn't very friendly. Liked the car so much called back a second time and got Milan we found online. Initially spoke with someone on the phone who wasn't very friendly. Liked the car so much called back a second time and got Christy. She held the car for us since we were driving over 3 hrs to see the car!! Once we got there Christy was awesome she explained everything about the car and the warranties about the car even though we had allready done our research. She wanted to make sure we fully knew all the great features of the car. Christy was so awesome with the whole experience and was even great with our 4 year old daughter who we brought with us. I will definetly go back to her when I purchase my next car!! A++ salesperson!! The only minor issue we had with the dealership is that we were not impressed with the detailing on the car. The fabric on the roof of the car wad dirty for some reason and we were told it was cleaned but just wouldn't come clean but when we got home we used a scrub brush and got it clean!! Minor issue but would have liked to see them try harder!! More
Although you have probably been sitting in the lasco sales office for several hours by now, make sure you read everything you sign. I think they drag things out on purpose to make you eager to leave by sales office for several hours by now, make sure you read everything you sign. I think they drag things out on purpose to make you eager to leave by the time the stack of papers arrives to be signed. You will end up paying for b.s. warrantees that are a scam. More
My husband and I went to Lasco's twice in 2 days looking for a new vehicle. Both times we were left--I MEAN JUST LEFT-- several times alone--once at the door to go out and look at a car. When we did go ou for a new vehicle. Both times we were left--I MEAN JUST LEFT-- several times alone--once at the door to go out and look at a car. When we did go outside, the sales person didn't even bring a key to a car so we had to look in the windows. The second person to leave us waiting was the floor manager. He wanted to make sure we were on the "up and up" as he put it because my husband brought in an ad from the newspaper to see if he could match the price. Apparently, he must have thought I run my own print shop and go around to car dealers trying to scam them. It all worked out great though, I went over to Szotts Ford and bought a 2012 Ford Focus! At least at Szotts, I was able to take the cars for a drive, I didn't have to look in a window. Linda Ricketts More
I bought a used car from this dealer. Within 2 weeks of owning this car I was pulled over and informed that the vin # on my car does not match the vin# on insurance card that I handed the officer. So i imm owning this car I was pulled over and informed that the vin # on my car does not match the vin# on insurance card that I handed the officer. So i immediately called the dealership and left several voicemails. When I finally got a hold of someone I was informed that the dealership had 2 of the same car and they filled out the paper work for the wrong car. SO i was told that I had to bring my car back and take the other car. By the time I got the 2nd car home it was smoking from the hood, the interior is all scaratched up, the car smelled like gasoline, and the car shook when you were stopped at a red light. Again, I called immediately the next morning. Left several voicemails and finally asked to speak to a manager. I talked to Dan Hazen who informed me that my salesman was in the hospital and nothing could be done until he was back to work. I was tired of getting no answers over the phone so I drove to the dealership and talked to Dan. He talked to me like I did not know what I was talking about. I was told by him that I was asking him for a favor and he wasn't willing to do that until he talked to Steve. I didn't think that I was asking for a favor when all I wanted was for this dealership to fix the mistakes that were made. After trying several different phone calls I still have no resolution to this issue. I basically was told I was buying a completely different car than I actually bought. At first this seemed like an simple mistake but now I am wondering if they did this on purpose. So now I am stuck with a car that does not work properly. More
To start with this company charges horrible interest rates to those with poor credit (big surprise). They also sell terrible vehicles off their lot, shine them up, and charge about 2 times what the vehi rates to those with poor credit (big surprise). They also sell terrible vehicles off their lot, shine them up, and charge about 2 times what the vehicle should ever cost. My 99 aurora with over 150,000 miles cost $4,000, with payments of $225 a month! The car had: bad tires, bad shocks, a cracked windshield, all of this I knew (got into it anyway cause I thought it ran nice, and I was desperate), after a few weeks I had to replace the radiator. Lasco will also threaten you, over and over again, even if you are only 11 days late on a payment. They'll send you a letter threatening repossession, which apparently applies forever, they sent me one about 4 months ago, I got caught up, and now this month (November) I am 11 days past due and they are still referencing the letter they sent out in the summer. This is another in the long list of companies who take advantage of people in rough situations (I had walked to their dealership when I got suckered into this junk car due to 2 other vehicles dying on me within a matter of a week and a half). I would strongly suggest ANYONE interested in a vehicle in or around the Fenton, Michigan area avoid Lasco Ford at ALL costs. They are horrible people. More
I was an X plan buyer, new exactly what f150 I wanted. They had one. Spent 2 hours at dealer the first night. Told salesman (Chris Johnson) to call me with numbers for lease/buy and trade allowance. He le They had one. Spent 2 hours at dealer the first night. Told salesman (Chris Johnson) to call me with numbers for lease/buy and trade allowance. He left confusing message said to call sales manager, Dan Hazen. Spoke to Dan and negotiated trade amount thinking price of truck was fixed with XPlan. Came to agreement on trade in and purchase of truck at 1.9% 72 months, $600/month. Spoke to sales man and told him to have all paperwork ready. Made appointment for 3:30. Met with Chris and he said we needed to talk Dan. Waited for approximately 1 hour. He then proposed using different finance company (other than FMC). Waited again for 30-45 minutes. Finally given to business manager to sign the deal. Still had not seen numbers used to come up with $600/month figure. Business manager had all items on computer screen as they use fords e-file loan agreement. Told me I would get a copy of everything once signed. E-signed and then had to sign additional documents with salesman, RD108 and miscellaneous documents. At this point is was 6:30 (3 hours) and I needed to get home for kids. The next day I reviewed the documents and price for vehicle appeared high. Asked to salesman for copy of invoice to verify Xplan price. He said sales manager was out and he would get it to me the next day. I found exact same vehicle (MSRP) on line and found that they had over charged me $1174.00. They had correct price on line 1 of RD108 form but added $1274 in line 2 for "document fees". When confronted the sales manager said he would look into it. Called later that day and said they had made a mistake and it should have been $75 document fee + $25 pin stripe fee. and apologized for mistake. Said he would have refund check mailed out that day (friday). As of the following wednesday no check. Called Dan, he apologized someone in office dropped the ball. I went by the dealership that night and picked up check in person. I have no doubt that the excess fee and delays are all part of there "typical strategy" to deceive and over charge there customers. I had previously taken a vehicle in for an oil change. After leaving the dealership the check engine light came on. Once home I opened the hood to check the oil and found the air cleaner cover loose and the air filter missing. More
My experience was terrible. I addressed several issues with my used car that I was purchasing and was assured that my concerns weren't anything to worry about. I was told the car was checked out and ther with my used car that I was purchasing and was assured that my concerns weren't anything to worry about. I was told the car was checked out and there was nothing major wrong. I was lied to. When I went to take the car back so that they could address the major concerns I was told they couldn't do anything. I'm speechless right now. I would not recommend anyone to buy a used car from them. More

I purchased the extended drivetrain warranty for the used vehicle I bought. The finance manager gave me a quick rundown on what the warranty covered, and how there was tire road hazard and lost key coverage. vehicle I bought. The finance manager gave me a quick rundown on what the warranty covered, and how there was tire road hazard and lost key coverage. He failed to clarify that this tire and key coverage was separate from the drivetrane warranty, and that it cost nearly $1200 . Shame on me for not taking an hour to read every word in the mountain of paper work involved in buying the vehicle. More
