I like visiting car dealerships about as much as I like going to the mall. It's not my favorite thing to do. Despite those feelings, when looking to purchase or lease a new vehicle, you have to deal with a going to the mall. It's not my favorite thing to do. Despite those feelings, when looking to purchase or lease a new vehicle, you have to deal with a new car salesperson. I made a decision to buy a new vehicle, and took the time to visit four different dealers representing three auto makers. I must say that it is surprising how different the dealer experience can be when you compare. I first compared the products, did my research on the internet and obtained preliminary quotes before I even left the house. Even though I hadn't stepped foot in the dealership yet, I had already established contacts and relationships with four different salespeople. Again, the experience varied significantly from one dealer to the next. Once I narrowed down my decision, I finally had to go into the dealers and drive the product(s). I hadn't shopped for a new vehicle in over 15 years, and I was pleasantly surprised at the experience. With regards to Lasco Ford, when I entered the showroom I was immediately taken with the buzz of activity, and the overwhelming number of customers who were engaged with salespeople. Other dealers I visited were as quiet and still as a church and I was often the only customer in the showroom. Clearly, Lasco was doing something different to attract all these people. I spent two solid hours with my sales rep, who provided me with a very detailed review of the product and accompanied me on a test drive (which I prefer, actually). There was a simple and brief request to close the deal at the end of my first visit, but I respectfully declined to make a decision on the spot and said that I would respond within 72 hours. They agreed to hold the (high demand) vehicle for me during that time, with no money down, only my word and request to do so. It only took another 24 hours to make my final decision to lease a vehicle from Lasco Ford. From that point, the interaction with my sales rep didn't end. I continued to receive the high level of service that I desired and came to expect, and this continued until the day of delivery. The delivery process was smooth and uneventful. There were no surprise charges and every expectation was met. I drove away about 1.5 hours after I arrived. I would definitely recommend Lasco Ford,and salespeople Whitney Berry and Paul Zaagman to my friends and family, or anyone reading this review. I hope you are as satisfied as I was. More

When I came into look at a car, I didn't know what I wanted. I only knew what kind of price range I was able to afford. Eric approached me and wanted to see if we could get approved for a loan first. Which was exactly what I wanted, and it was something the other dealers I went to would not do for me; for example: Patsy Lou in Flint. Eric was pleasant from the beginning, but I had it in my head that car salesmen were people who are just in it to make money. Having done business with Eric proved me wrong. He made it work for me and got it into my price range. It was great. I was there for a very long time because it was late and they were really busy. Being there late didn't hinder the process of me leaving with my car at all. It was nice that I didn't feel like I was being rushed out of the door. Jake was the other gentleman that helped me, by getting all the financial details in order for me to sign. He also delivered prime customer service, despite it being so late and wanting to go home. The staff at this particular Lasco Ford are awesome, and I would recommend them to anybody who needed to buy a new/used vehicle. More

I live four hours from this dealership, but They had a truck I was looking for. I also had a trade-in. To not waste anyone's time, I spoke to Rob Quite frequently about prices and sent pictures of my truc truck I was looking for. I also had a trade-in. To not waste anyone's time, I spoke to Rob Quite frequently about prices and sent pictures of my truck. My husband and I liked what we heard, so I drove the four hours. 20+ pictures on the internet! I was fairly informed of what I was getting. I was very happy that what numbers Rob and I came up with, was exactly what I got on paper. These days, over the phone and internet, is a big risk. However, the truck I bought, (certified), had some blemishes I was not made aware of. Was not told it had rust on the door, that someone tried to cover with touch-up paint, was not told, it needed tires and some pretty good scratches in the paint through out the truck, along with the wheels themselves were very scratched. I drove the four hours home in my new truck, a little out of line, maybe alignment needed? Or could be that it does need tires. Sales people were very nice, I will give them that, but I' m going to have to put some additional money into the $32,500 truck I just financed. I won't be driving four hours to this location, again. Honest people on numbers over the phone and internet, but if you are local, go over your purchase with a fine tooth comb. More
