Best Car Buying Experience In Michigan Saturday, May 3, 2014, I walked into Lasco Ford with the intention of purchasing a new vehicle. I had just recently been in an accident - resulting in Saturday, May 3, 2014, I walked into Lasco Ford with the intention of purchasing a new vehicle. I had just recently been in an accident - resulting in the totaling out of my 2012 Ford Focus - and I knew I was in the market for another vehicle. Mike Goldsworthy had contacted me the day prior, due to the Progressive Total Loss Program Lasco is a part of, and when I stepped foot in the salesroom he immediately went to work for me. Instead of trying to suggest a vehicle that would fit my needs, he took his time, asked me exactly what I wanted - and in turn provided me with a vehicle that fit the guidelines I had given him. From the moment I began speaking with Mike in person I was immediately impressed by not only his level of tremendous customer service, but the straightforward honesty with which he spoke. In today's day and age a salesman who is willing to look you in the eye, give you a firm handshake and go to bat for your needs is rare - a commodity the majority of not only dealerships but Fortune 500 companies lack - however, in Mike Goldsworthy, Lasco Ford has a true individual, a man willing to go to bat for his customers. Mike Goldsworthy listened to the situation I was in - recovering from the totaling of a vehicle is not easy - and he immediately ensured that he would be able to get me into the type of car I was interested in, a 2014 Ford Fusion, at the price I could afford. He worked tirelessly from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. on a Saturday to ensure this would be possible. He not only stressed this to his manager, Paul Zaagman, but also with the Finance Department and those above him. He believed in me as an individual and ensured that those above him believed in me as well. For someone in their late twenties, like me, struggling to make up for the poor decisions made in my late teens and early twenties, he made sure that my credit score would not be a hinderance to the payment and vehicle I desired. Not only was he able to get me approved for financing, but he was able to do so at a price we had agreed on before he went to the Finance Department. I already know I will only be using Mike Goldsworthy and his crew for the rest of my vehicle purchasing experiences, and you should too. There is no finer example of a dealership willing to work with their customers than Lasco Ford. Mike Goldsworthy, Paul Zaagman and Greg Reid will make sure that what you want is what you get, at the price you can afford. They are not a group of slimy, underhanded salesman looking to make a quick buck - they are quality individuals, like you and me, willing to step up to the plate and take a few pitches, proving once and for all that yes, patience is indeed a virtue, before they crush it out of the park and hand you the keys to the vehicle of your dreams. Miguel Cabrera may be a two time batting champion and MVP, but Mike Goldsworthy is the Miguel Cabrera of selling vehicles. If you find yourself in the market for a vehicle, either used or new, I recommend you head to Lasco Ford and nowhere else. It was a Saturday, the weekend, a time Mike Goldsworthy could have been spending with his family and kids - not at work - yet here he was, sweating for me, a common man, in order to ensure that I would leave happy. There is nowhere else you should go, Lasco Ford - and in turn Mike Goldsworthy, Paul Zaagman and Greg Reid - is the place you should find yourself if you are in the market for a vehicle. I implore you to at least give them the chance to speak with you and listen to your needs before you jump into a bad situation with another dealership and a shady salesman who doesn't actually listen to your needs and desires. Everone at Lasco Ford was great and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Eric Parks did a wonderful job as our sales representitive. He went above and beyond to make this the best experiences we have ever had while purchasing our new truck. He even sent us a video of a walk around tour of the truck we were interested in even before we went to see it. We were able to go in and purchase our Certified Pre-Owned Ford truck and drive it home the same day. We will glady consider Lasco Ford again for our next purchase. More

I remained so happy that I knew that they were the ONLY choice for the dealership I wanted to work with on my New 2014 Fusion Hybrid purchase. I was visiting for an oil change when I decided it was time to take a test drive. By random luck, I was introduced to Charlie Burgess and we went for a test drive! It was as if all the cards fell into place and I walked out with my new car 'in the works'. I took delivery within 3 days. Charlie was simply the biggest help and easiest going Sales Consultant that anyone could ask for! My positive experience with Charlie, and continued positives with Lasco Ford, will keep me a loyal customer. I also happen to LOVE my new car! More

My name is Nicholas Lachance, I located my current F250 Superduty on USAA car buying service. Once I confirmed it was still on the lot, I drove from Warren, MI. immediately. This was my only day off in over 8 months, I was not sure when I would have the time to check out this truck again. My first encounter with Ed was in passing, small talk was initiated. After he saw me standing there for a few minutes, he put our conversation together and figured out I was an online customer, he was more than willing to help me. Ed's desk was simple but to the point, exactly what I expect from someone in sales. Ed knew about the truck I was interested in, even took the time to tell me about the options it came with from the factory. After the test drive, we started the paperwork. As an option and to lessen the burden of having two vehicles with me at one time. I wanted to see how much my 2001 BMW would rate for a trade. He was very accommodating during the long wait during the appraisal process. Ed even went back to the employees lounge to get me a cup of coffee when the service department ran out of coffee. Not what I expected, but a very pleasant surprise. Once I did not accept the offer for my trade, I had a dilemma. I was going to buy this truck and still had my car there as well. He overheard my conversation with my wife who stated she would drive me back out the next day to pick up my car. Ed excused himself from the desk, so I could finish my conversation with my wife. Once he returned he had a plan of action that would not involve my wife and kids coming out the next day to retrieve my car. With my wife working for the Department of Defense, and myself serving in the Army, our schedules would mean a late night pick up of my car. He offered to follow me in my car, so I could drive my truck home. He stated his wife would follow him in their car and it would not be an issue at all. I tried asking a couple different ways to ensure he would be okay with his wife and himself driving over 50 miles (one way) to my house after their long day. Ed never stopped trying to take care of me, I understand I did not purchase a new vehicle from Lasco Ford that day. I was treated like I had. Ed Samples displayed the utmost professionalism, calm demeanor, and resourcefulness of a Man of honor. I am truly happy I called Lasco Ford that day, and thanks to Ed Samples - I will always check with Lasco Ford before going anywhere else for our next vehicle. I apologize for taking well over a month to write this review, the military has its own timelines and agendas.
