#WATCHYOURNUMBERS-Bcautious OF the #’s from finance vs sales My experience was good, however please keep an eye on the OUT THE DOOR PRICE, which is what I wanted, and what the finance folks didn’t end up with; t My experience was good, however please keep an eye on the OUT THE DOOR PRICE, which is what I wanted, and what the finance folks didn’t end up with; there was a big difference, but as with most Auto’s purchased, when you’re seriously going to buy, the negotiating is exhausting and it’s you against the tag team that makes up the whole process. I was promised and have it writing what my price OTD was to be, I did get a good price but not my out the door EXPECTED price, and by that time I sighed off on $3k more than I expected (should’ve halted the deal) I got caught up and loved the car so I let it happen...lesson learned, I don’t buy a car too often, 11 years ago was my last one. since I know the sales person works on delivering a price to the customer in conjunction with the Sales MGR, it’s a team effort, but when asked the next day the MGR claimed he wasn’t aware but the sales person validated that he told by the SM it was to be an OTD price...hmm—but the SM said he didn’t know it was to be an OTD price. Who knows whom to believe... After 4 hours at the end of my day, I guess I gave up, but I’m really happy with the car and overall thus far,with what the sales guys has helped me with. I would recommend them... just #Watch the Numbers... VM More
