We were anticpating on reserving a vehicle for myself, a 4runner, but instead we met Andrew Chung. The first impression me and my husband Chris got from him was, that he was a straight shooter like myself, 4runner, but instead we met Andrew Chung. The first impression me and my husband Chris got from him was, that he was a straight shooter like myself, I am pretty much to the point. Andrew understood this and did everything to ensure that were able to secure a vehicle on the lot to take home that very same day, our son loves it. We met Sarah, and she was awesome, I don't won't to get into the paper work fiasco, because we all know it takes forever (hours even), but in the end, we got our new 2022 Trail Edition 4Runner. I received a call few days later to get the adds on we had purchased. The whole experience was great, we are very happy with our new vehicle, I would definitely recommend anyone to Andrew Chung and his team at Toyota of Tacoma. The team was professional, attentative and funny, we like a good sense of humor. We are excited for our new adventures in our new 4runner. Thank you Andrew!! Titus Family More
So I'm a first time buyer at 20 years old. Mike, my sales person seemed very genuine, he answered hundreds of questions and reminded me of my brother who works in sales. It really seemed like Mike, my sales person seemed very genuine, he answered hundreds of questions and reminded me of my brother who works in sales. It really seemed like he had my best interest in mind but I ultimately ended up spending way more then I wanted to and only test drove a single car and he managed to make me buy it same day, so yeah, he was good at his job (I'm just not sure if that was a good or a bad thing) Now the real problem was with trevor, the finance guy. First off he was very professional and tried his best to reassure me of my purchase. But he did sell me an expensive warranty and gap insurance policy for around $5000 (which I'm hopefully going to get refunded now that I know I made a mistake and it's only been 2 says) he also would repeat exact numbers to me if I rounded. I was on my phone with my parents when I told them that I was going to have a 5.5% interest rate and he instantly corrected me and said 5.49%. he guided me through the processes smoothly but he did it forcefully, he didn't like when I stopped to ask questions about things that did not pertain to the current paper that I was signing. This dealerships is out to make money anyway they can. You get a quote online and then show up to completed the deal and they forgot about the $4 to $10k extras they plan to add when the car arrives. When You get a quote online and then show up to completed the deal and they forgot about the $4 to $10k extras they plan to add when the car arrives. When you tell them that this is not what you want they act like your robbing them or something. I bought a car from them 3 years ago and had a great experience but now I would never recommend them. The managers, especially the GM, Mike Santander, has no power to make any decisions. He kept saying it was the owner who was making them make up the cars and they had to do what he says. We I asked to get the owner's info, they all laugh and said they can't even get a hold of him. Bottom Line - avoid them at all cost. They represent the worse of shady dealers. More
This dealership is exploiting people and taking advantage by asking a lot more money over MSRP. shameful! Bought a used 2020 Nissan Rogue and within the first month I'm having to replace the throttle body harness, service and part will cost me 3700 dollars. I didn't buy the car with a warranty because it on month I'm having to replace the throttle body harness, service and part will cost me 3700 dollars. I didn't buy the car with a warranty because it only has 40k miles on it and it's 3 years old so I thought a warranty wouldn't be needed. The error codes that the tech I took it to showed that the codes had occurred before as well but these were never disclosed to me during the buying process. Not sure if they just didn't see the previous error codes or what. Will never deal with this dealership again, awful experience. More
this place Took advantage of 1st time car buyers. Initially working with Joey online started great,, then when we arrived he handed us off to his dad and things started going downhill. We agreed on a Initially working with Joey online started great,, then when we arrived he handed us off to his dad and things started going downhill. We agreed on a price that was not what we ended up paying. They kept us there waiting around for almost 5 hours and then fast talking unprofessional "finance manager" Sarah quickly and sloppily went over paperwork and we stupidly just signed.. she is in on the scam of sliding in extra fees for things the sales snake said were included for free. It's our fault for trusting people and signing stuff but again, this was our first time and we were tired and just wanted to go home finally. Didn't think they could legally LIE to our faces and scam us that hard. Then on top of all that, 3 separate people all said I'd get a call NEXT day to book appointment to get windows tinted and paint protectant on, never got a call. I've been emailing several times for over a month and just been lied to about getting a call that day multiple times which still never happened. Still waiting for that call to this day LOL. Then was told after a month OF ME ASKING, oh your phone # isn't in our system. Why is that just now being discovered after I asked MULTIPLE TIMES FOR AN UPDATE? sucks I've had to initiate every conversation and theres no communication or updates on their end. They got me and my $ so now they don't give a xxxx anymore. Completely different vibe than when they wanted me to buy vs after I actually signed. Im terrified what the service department is like once I finally do get that appointment..IF that ever actually happens. I'm sure ill have to call and complain to a manager since these people obviously can't do their job and make a simple phone call. Just one lie and excuse after another when you reach out to the sales person for help. Our fault for being naive but shame on them for using that against us. The sales people at larson are why this industry has the scummy reputation it does. Their rating on BBB is an F. Titus will, where we originally went has an A. Should have just worked with them after all and got on the wait list to order my car. Unfortunately the model I wanted is hard to find and these guys were the only ones with one available in literally all of washington. I was in a time crunch to get a vehicle and should've done more research on the dealership before ever stepping foot in that place. Lesson learned. I will never buy from them and urge others to not 'look' larson but look literally anywhere else. More
My wife and I just purchase two Toyota vehicles from Toyota of Tacoma. I have had several vehicles in my time and I have to say that I have never dealt with a more professional group of people. No hassl Toyota of Tacoma. I have had several vehicles in my time and I have to say that I have never dealt with a more professional group of people. No hassle, questions were answered, they spoke with my wife concerning her vehicle and with me concerning mine. My salesperson was Tony Petrina and a super special that you to the Finance Mgr Sarah. Should I purchase another car in the future I will most definitely return to Toyota of Tacoma. I will also tell everyone I know that is looking for a car to give them a chance. I will be worth it. I had a lot of questions about the car that I was thinking about buying. He was very professional and responsive during the process. I lived 2.5 hours away and didn't want to drive up to Tacoma unless I thought we could agree on pricing and a trade. We got that to a good place and I drove up and we finalized things. He even showed me what maintenance the dealership had done when they inspected the car. It was a stress free process, and he, his manager, and the appraiser all congratulated me on buying their 2012 Corvette. More
My salesman was the most efficient, professional engaging of the many vehicle purchases I have made. I was told I could wait in the "more comfortable waiting area while he spoke w/Finace. The chairs were old of the many vehicle purchases I have made. I was told I could wait in the "more comfortable waiting area while he spoke w/Finace. The chairs were old, worn out, all had a dried white liquid dripped down the front of them, most missing upholstery buttons. Mentioning solely as after seeing the random items that were magically added to the vehicle purchase; one thousand dollars spent on their "more comfortable" waiting room could go a long way to upgrade to a more high end illusion. Met w/the F&I Rep, all fine & dandy until you don't want to buy a warranty. Like it is your first car purchase and you don't have a clue what you need; or how much they make off warranties; or that you are purchasing a vehicle WITH a warranty. Also told me the 'chips go out in most things with all these new electronics. According to my cars warranty, the dealership will be replacing it. Also told me the key alone is $800, if it goes out. Apparently, she hasn't priced replacements; they are appros $150. Treated very cooly once you decline a warranty. Despite the tens of thousands you just signed for the vehicle purchase! The night of purchase, salesman took a lot of time and went over most of the computer nuances with me, connected my blutooth, explained add on bonus' etc... While we were sitting, him explaining things in detail, my trade-in was sitting beside us. The Finance Rep kept coming out interrupting us to: ask where the keys to my old vehicle were; continued to interrupt us to ask me various things about my vehicle, etc.... She had decided she was going to keep it herself. It was 10pm and the salesman & myself were exhausted; while this womans only focus was on how my great trade in could be hers. It made MY purchase handoff even lengthier. It was inconsiderate, rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately for me, my salesman left for another career within days of my purchase. He had already submitted my info for scheduling their mandated (at your expense) cilijet coating & front window tinting to match back (whether you want it or not). Called after a week and another sales rep said they would look into it and get back to me; crickets.... Second call, same thing.....Call Mario, the Internet Rep who I had corresponded with early on; said no worries, I will take car of it; same.... No Response. (The car was paid for and gone, they had incentive to make sure pre-paid service add-ons are completed). Finally weeks later, spoke w/Ryan Reynolds, not the salesman who sold me the care but the ONLY person who followed through on anything. I was told no worries, we will give you a loaner. I get there and find "they didn't have loaners that day" and arranged an Enterprise rental (they covered) per contract. They rented a care w/out asking my needs. I spent 2 hrs at Enterprise working it out. On my paperwork for the pre-paid work; I was asked to sign paperwork that said "Customer Request" (and listed the work done). I specifically requested to opt out of the added work, added expense to the car that this dealership "insisted each car that drove off their lot had done." I get it, the clearcoat is a protectant but please do not indicate that it was the Customer that requested you making this effort; it wasn't; it was mandatory & paid for in advance by the customer. The moral of the story is the dealerships satisfaction with their sale. The more you know, the less you want to be manipulated.; you are no fun. Fortunately they had a couple Sales reps that had integrity. Paul Harden & Ryan Reynolds have my respect & thanks. More
