The night before I went to Larson Toyota I visited the VW dealership next door. I was looking to buy a Jetta hybrid as I was enamored with the gas mileage. However, my experience at VW was horrible. The cars were good but the sales staff was unprofessional. The sales associate I worked with actually laughed at my counteroffer! I walked out angry and disappointed. The next morning I awoke with new car-buying energy (after a pep talk from my wife). I had planned to visit Honda that morning as soon as they opened. Ironically, or divinely, David Butler, from Larson Toyota, called me just as I was walking out the door. He had remained in touch with me when I inquired about one of their Camry hybrids two weeks prior. To his luck (and soon to mine) I agreed to stop by Larson Toyota before heading to Honda. I am VERY VERY glad I did! David Butler, and the entire staff at Larson Toyota, treated me with respect and, most importantly, HONESTY! I told him exactly what I wanted to pay, exactly what I wanted for my trade-in, and roughly what I wanted in my new car. David worked with me on two different Toyota models. I loved both. Dave and the sales manager, Pete (another awesome employee), came back with two offers on both a hybrid Camry and a Prius. Not only were the offers what I wanted to pay, the Prius was a bit less!! Also, they gave me EXACTLY what I wanted for my trade-in. I even verified the deal on an online auto loan/lease calculator. Everything checked out. No negotiation needed! I shook Dave's hand on the spot and purchased the Prius. The car is great! It's only been a day but I LOVE it. I am very thankful for Dave and the entire staff at Larson (including the delivery gentleman, Tyler, great guy who gave me a thorough tutorial of all the Prius' features) for giving me a true and transparent car buying experience.
