My overall service experience at Toyota of Tacoma started out with great potential however overall fell short and left me wanting to take my business elsewhere due to lack of customer service. I initially out with great potential however overall fell short and left me wanting to take my business elsewhere due to lack of customer service. I initially submitted a request through the Costco Auto Program in search of a 2018-2019 Used Toyota Camry SE. The reason I chose to utilize the Costco program is because I personally had a enjoyable/hassle free car buying experience in the past where I was presented with upfront pricing in writing with no high pressure tactics. In fact my sales rep were completely ok with me taking the time needed to make an informed decision. I initially received a prompt email in the AM hours from Paul Harden. Paul had sent me a listing for a vehicle that almost perfectly matched my search criteria. I replied to Paul via email in the morning hours of the same day and attempted to setup an appointment to test drive the Camry he had sent me. While I didn't receive a response from Paul I did receive a friendly phone call around noon from Dana Dixon to setup an appointment for me to drive the Camry mentioned by Paul. After promptly showing up for my appointment to meet with Dana the person at the front desk appeared to have no record of my appointment. After doing some hunting around I was told Dana would not be able to assist me however Jason Granstrand would be able to take over. It appeared Jason was not provided with much of any details for my appointment and the vehicle I was setup to test drive. After locating my email correspondence from the other Toyota reps Jason was able to confirm the vehicle I was supposed to test drive had been sold. Understandable these things happen but it would have been nice to know in advance as my appointment was setup for this specific vehicle. Luckily Jason located a similar vehicle with much higher mileage (around 41,151 to be exact as opposed to the 11,000 on the now sold vehicle). Jason was gracious enough to allow me And my friend to go on a test drive and overall I was happy with the performance of the car. After coming back to the dealership I inquired with Jason about the Costco pricing on this vehicle which Jason initially appeared confused by my request stating that Costco pricing was only available on new vehicles. After some consulting with a colleague Jason confirmed he would be able to print out a price sheet with Costco pricing. After reviewing the Costco pricing I thanked Jason for his time and advised I would need to review this information with a relative before any kind of decision could be made. At this point Jason inquired with me I'd there was a price that would allow me to proceed with the purchase of the above mentioned vehicle. Keep in mind I had no intention to negotiate at this time as I was only interested in obtaining the Costco price. Due to Jason's insistence I provided a dollar amount I would be comfortable with given how high the vehicles mileage was for its age. After some discussion we were pretty much at an agreement on final pricing however I would need to review with my family member and get back to him. Jason made it crystal clear to me that the numbers we had discussed on the Costco price sheet would no longer be valid after today. I requested a copy of the Costco pricing sheet which to my understanding should be provided per Costco's Email: "View the special Costco Member-Only Price Sheet, which shows your exclusive savings off the lowest advertised price for the vehicle. Afterward, have the Authorized Dealer Contact complete the Member Pricing Form with you to view your exclusive prearranged Costco member price" Jason advised he would give me a generic breakdown however would not provide the discounted Costco price sheet. Overall during this whole process Jason seemed somewhere between annoyed + disinterested + bothered. The whole process lacked enthusiasm that you would normally find in a traditional sales experience. I'm not sure if I was in the market for a brand new vehicle if this would have possibly enhanced my experience? If I had been ready to proceed I don't know if I could have pushed through on a large purchase where the sales person didn't seem happy to help their own customers? To add icing to the cake my departure was quite awkward as the Jason offered no kind of follow up, business card, or hand shake. It felt like I was leaving a party I wasn’t invited to. More
Bad Service department This happened twice in a row that the fluids were not topped up and was charged for it. I let it go for the first time as things do happen sometimes This happened twice in a row that the fluids were not topped up and was charged for it. I let it go for the first time as things do happen sometimes but when asked about it second time, no one was ready to take responsibility that their was a mistake not even service department leader or service advisor(Robin) except one mechanic who accepted it was missed. All i wanted to convey was that they should double check before you give customer a product which you have charged them for but is not done. But all I heard was the explanation to cover up. I don't know if that happens repeatedly with customers but i am not going back to larson again. If you can mark it as done on paper and charge for it please do accept responsibility for delivering undone work to customer. Thank you. More

Received a no-pressure service from the salesman James Chen he was great and worked with my timetable and my busy schedule. I changed my mind have after reviewing and test driving. Aaron Bakewell from the finance dept was amazing due to timing constraints I had all four of my children it was amazing to see how he involved them in the process to run so smooth with 4 kids around and all under 12. I will be at Larson for my next vehicle as well. More

My husband and daughter drove 45 minutes to potentially buy her a new vehicle. We had been researching online and found the one she was ready to buy. We e-mailed the dealership the night before to confirm that the vehicle was still available and a salesperson called us first thing before business hours the next day to confirm that the car was still available and that it would be pulled up ready to see and test drive. Once they arrived they were told it had been sold already. The salesman working with them explained he had to go home because of kidney stones and quickly handed my husband and daughter over to another salesperson...who ultimately put on a sales talk for another vehicle at a higher price out of our daughters price range. My husband and daughter got up and left. More

We didn't feel pressured during the whole buying experience. When we went into finance to finalize our purchase, Andy Lee was very helpful also. We were approved for a loan at a little bit higher interest rate than we would have normally gone with, but we agreed on the terms. Andy called us back the following Wednesday to let us know that he had found another lender at a lower interest rate, with the same terms as the previous lender. We went back in today and signed new papers. We are very happy with our experience at Larson Toyota of Tacoma. More

After doing the paperwork I was told about the $130 dollar diagnostic fee which I agreed to and about how it would be waived if the car was worked on at toyota. I agreed to both. However after about 2 hours I was told that I would need a new WIPER MOTOR that was $310. I decided to not buy the part and only pay for the diagnostic. I left toyota and went to "j and j auto". They took 5 minutes, looked at the wiper and told me it was a loose bolt. They tightened the bolt up and put me on my way and didnt charge me a penny. I went back to toyota & they refused to refund me the WRONG diagnosis they had given me. Why should I pay $130 for a WRONG diagnosis? Either their mechanics are incompetent or they are trying to make money by giving customers WRONG diagnosis. If yall need services I suggest going to J & J Auto instead of Toyota of Tacoma. They will LIE to you just to get your your money. More
